I guess you get what you pay for and the room in this budget motel certainly needed work in a few areas. Having said that, the staff were lovely and the room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. I appreciated having a microwave oven.

All good, except I wish the parking was allocated. I struggled to get a decent park at night.

Older style hotel showing some age. But everything was clean and bed was comfortable. A good experience.

The staff is quite nice and polite. Other than that, this motel is actually not a good one. Though I know it is outdated, however there are things they can improve, for example the cleanliness , and comfortability. Can’t understand why there are ants in the room. The room is quite spacious, but only one chair beside the table. I sincerely advise the owner to spend some time on how to improve the room.

Good budget hotel with alot of history. Close enough to walk the hills into town. Definitely recommended

Staff was very helpful 5 stars. The property only gets 2 stars - it is run down and needs maintenance - eg fluro lighting fixtures were malfunctioning, shower plumbing was leaking badly, and window curtain tracking was broken. Otherwise, OK.

Room was neat and tidy. Clean and very functional as well as comfortable. Iron was a bit ordinary and the ironing board very ordinary, however this was immediately rectified with a brand new iron and ironing board as soon as I mention it to staff.

Very basic

The staff were very helpful and easily arranged a late check in for me. My room was a great size, very comfortable, a spa bath and views of Mt Wellington! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Hobart, especially if you have a car as they have onsite parking.

It had the basics of what is needed but is VERY outdated and old.
