The hotel is in a good location, along the road which seems to have a line of high-end hotels. Close proximity to the old city, but not walking distance.
The hotel has great layout - like a classic house design (haveli) but with modern amenities and modern interiors. A grand entrance with large wooden doors is very reminiscent of the grand days of Rajasthan.
It has one indoor restaurant, and one open air area which has evening dinners. The morning breakfast buffet is well provisioned.
Pleasant staff who are helpful.
There is some areas within the walls which are adequate for parking self-driven cars.
One drawback is that the hotel does not have any elevators. And no wheelchair friendly entrances. Thus, for elderly people and ones with climbing issues, this hotel can get to be quite a problem - right from the front entrance. And the staircases all around the property are without railings except for one - which makes it even more difficult.
