My sister and I moved to Bradenton when we were teenagers. We loved going to the beach on AMI. Now, 60, years later, we were looking for a nostalgic 3-day getaway. Cedar Cove was perfect for us. Small, quiet and friendly, it captured the old Florida vibe. We were in the Coconut Suite which gave us wonderful Gulf views and some natural beauty with palms and pines. We drank iced tea on the balcony while we watch the beach walkers go by. Then we just walked down there too when the sunset arrived. I watched a pelican diving for fish and the sandpipers racing the waves. I even swam out to the sand bar!
I was surprised how well Cedar Cove had weathered Hurricane Milton. The pullout couch was actually comfortable. The full kitchen was a bonus. The designated parking space was appreciated. All-in-all we had a great getaway at Cedar Cove.
