Every interaction I had with staff was very good. Nice pub and restaurant inside hotel. Easy walking distance to the major sites

Excellent accommodations! Parking a little complicated - specific directions to back lot would be helpful - but staff very helpful once you get there.

It was an extremely varied breakfast with lots of choices. Staff excellent and very friendly, they couldn't do enough for you. We loved the welcome cup of tea/coffee. It was handy for train station, shops and York museum

Outstanding staff, room was clean and very comfortable twin beds. The breakfast was 3 course meal and dinner 4 course meals.Highly recommend

Wonderful place! Great breakfast, dinner available, historic building renovated. Restaurants, train station, and the old city are within walking distance. Our room was wonderful- spacious and light.

Veldig skuffet over at de ikke hadde parkering selv om det står på nettsiden. Utrolig nedlatende og frekk betjening som tok oss imot. Mye trapper og litt trangt. Armatur i dusjen var så avansert at det tok litt tid å finne ut av. Veldig bra frokost. Fin lokasjon.

Stayed for two nights and the staff are welcoming, the room was clean and quiet and walkable into the heart of York and the railway station. There is a bar with entertainment which did not disturb me during my stay. Enjoyed and would consider again on another trip.

Absolutely first class hotel - clean, friendly, bed very very comfortable, breakfast very nice and staff excellent - cant fault the place!! Will 100% be back!!

The hotel was perfect.Friendly staff made it easy to check in and out after our stay. The food was really good and lots of it . The drinks in the bar were sensibly priced . Room was clean , tidy and ready on time . The mattress on the twin beds was a bit hard . But I suppose the hotel can’t cater for different people mattresses preferences.10 minutes walk into York which was good and when we ordered a taxi on the last night the drivers were brilliant and the fare was a good price 👍

Another lovely stay here; the staff are so friendly and helpful, everything is super efficient and it’s a lovely relaxing and cheerful atmosphere.

The Wheatlands is ideal location for visiting York, with only approximately 15 min walk into the city and also close to York racecourse. The entire staff are all friendly and so dedicated to their
