Bed was amazing got a great nights sleep. Quiet grounds peaceful a lovely relaxing weekend stay. Didn’t try the food as I was visiting friends in the area. I would stay here again if I was in the area

Shame i didn't get to enjoy it longer but it is a lovely quiet hotel.

Good hotel for the money. Clean and spacious rooms ample parking

Breakfast was limited and not enough choice of cereals or fruit. No HOT water for a cup of tea. Tepid out of the coffee machine. No bin or any facilities to put tea bags or empty cereal boxes. Room was very spacious and clean which as it was the signsture suit was what I expected. A fridge in the room would have been useful and a safe.

Wonderful hotel with wonderful staff

Doing an event in Bedford so stayed the night before. Very convenient location close to Bedford, very clean and excellent value for money. Staff were efficient and friendly. Even though there was a wedding with an evening DJ we had a room at the back of the hotel and were not disturbed by the disco. Great pub less than 10 minute walk away.

I didnt find the staff to be welcoming and taking interest in the customers. Next time when I book, I wouldn't expect anything from them.

Great stay. Good food and beer. Helen was really friendly and helpful.

Characterful Hotel in lovely grounds, we stayed in the out building which was spacious and quiet. Room was clean and tidy and so was bathroom. Shower was warm with good pressure, our only concern was the floor tiles got very slippery when wet, care had to be taken! The full English Breakfast was excellent and service was very good. Would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

We loved our stay with you. The staff were brilliant and friendly, we had a delicious lunch & slept very well. We had a suite & enjoyed the space & comfort and we will definitely return again.

Stayed one night as attending concert nearby, thoroughly impressed with the hotel and staff. The rooms were very clean and spacious, bed comfy. The food we ordered for lunch was delicious and well priced. Staff very friendly and efficient. Excellent value for money

Pleasant hotel which is situated in small village. Good value for money. Needs to be softened a bit with period decor.
