Absolutely stunning hotel. Amazing rooftop pool. Delicious restaurants and cocktail bar. Perfect choice for a girlfriend’s getaway.

My husband and I recently stayed at 1 Hotel Toronto for a one-night getaway from our kids, and while the hotel itself is beautiful and very clean, our overall experience was disappointing. I booked the Skyline View Suite based on the photos advertised. Unfortunately, the room we received did not match the photos. It was missing features shown online, including the desk, and the "skyline view" was quite misleading. Only about a quarter of the view actually overlooked the skyline, while the rest looked out onto the rooftops of older buildings. Considering the premium price of the suite, this was disappointing. The biggest letdown, however, was the rooftop pool experience. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was to relax by the pool and enjoy a day in the sun. When we went up to the rooftop, there were empty lounge chairs available, but we were told we couldn't use them because they were reserved for guests on a waiting list. We were actually asked to get up from the chairs and told we could "try again tomorrow morning." Since we were only staying for one night, that wasn't a realistic option and it completely changed the experience we had hoped for. I want to mention that the hotel was exceptionally clean, and the property itself is beautiful. However, between the misleading room photos and the inability to enjoy one of the hotel's main amenities despite being a paying guest, our stay didn't feel like the relaxing getaway we had planned. A beautiful hotel! The entire staff was kind, skilled, and professional. Jonah greeted us when we arrived and made my son and I feel welcome and special. Both the rooftop and lobby bars were perfect. The rooms are cozy, clean, and modern. I love this place and will definitely stay there when I go back to Toronto. If you’re even considering this hotel just book it. You won’t be disappointed!

Great hotel, great staff, great front staff, good food.

The property and amenities are gorgeous. Every room has fresh filtered water out of the tap. The food is great. Sitting on the balcony with a drink was lovely. But the best part? The service. From the moment we pulled up until the minute we checked out. Exceptional service and kindness. That will not be forgotten. Already planning our next stay!

The 1 Hotel is wonderful. Staff is friendly and the rooms and amenities therein are well thought out. The only knocks would be the noise if you have a room facing Bathurst (we did and were moved the next day), the inordinate amount of time it takes for their 1 Kitchen restaurant to prepare ANYTHING, and the loud music thumping in theoir fine dining restaurant Casa Madera (we left as it was too loud to speak). Otherwise, this a a wonderful spot, with GREAT staff

I was concerned when I arrived because I was in the heart of downtown during the World Cup, and this clearly was a bustling location. The clientele all appeared well-heeled and ready for a good time. I personally prefer a low key quiet stay, and I expressed that desire to the staff. They reserved me a beautiful room on a higher floor. I told them that I am partial to quite few pillows and found a veritable pillow fort waiting for me! I had asked for a steamer to prepare a dress for an event I was attending and one was brought to me almost immediately. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The hotel itself if beautiful. Truly the only constructive feedback I could give was that there was no jam with my croissant, and no English Breakfast tea in my room. Both entirely non-issues. I will absolutely be staying here again.

The staff at 1 Hotel Toronto are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. They truly made me wish I could extend my stay, with the front desk team being particularly exceptional. The rooms are beautifully maintained and very clean, and I highly recommend dining at 1 Kitchen, where the food and fresh juices are absolutely delicious.
