Staff, cleanliness, everything was great. Oh yeah (too long hallways) we were second from the end.

The checkin was effortless and the room was spacious.

Comfortable hotel, nice breakfast. Good location in proximity to Badischer Bahnhof and Hoffmann La Roche headquarters.

Restaurant next door serves pizza, pizza, and pizza. Total lodging bill ended up $45 higher than quoted online. Facility is fine, that’s as far as it goes.

Loved the fantastic views from the balcony, and the bed was comfortable, but wish the sofa bed was better. Our daughter has bad hips so our sleeping arrangements had to be adjusted to accommodate her. Convenient location near Coop and Basel BB train station, but a bit far from everything else. On the expensive side for what you're getting, but I understand prices are higher during Fasnacht. The shower was terrible - intermittent intervals of cold water throughout every shower, lasting a minute or more each time, made the shower experience unpleasant.The staff was fantastic and helpful, however.

Tüm otellerde bu uygulama var mı bilmiyorum ama bize bir kart verdiler ve bu kart sayesinde havaalanına dönüş dahil konaklama süresince toplu taşıma araçlarından ücretsiz yararlanabildik, ayrıca bu kart ile tiyatro/ konser gibi etkinliklerde %50 indirimden yararlanabileceğimiz söylendi. Biz bir gece kaldığımız için bundan yararlanamadık, ama böyle bir imkanın sunulmuş olması çok güzel.

A great little hotel if you want to use the DBB station and not the SBB. Huge room, clean and comfortable. Eating options are great at the station across the road.

Its excellent. The room design is minimalist with appropriate and useful amenities its very spacious , it spotless, bed and pillows are great. It smelled clean and fresh, the staff are awesome and very helpful! Jizelle and Katie especially. We would stay here again .

Staff were amazing, helpful and friendly, checkin easy, only slight issue was the fold down bed mattress was very thin and had metal bars prodding through when you lay down for the 4th person in our room, great to get our Basel travel cards too, location brilliant so overall highly recommended

Traveling from Canada, we found Basel to be quite expensive. That said, Royal Hotel provided really good value for money. It was professionally run, the self check-in was easy, and being across the street from transit was very convenient. The unit was small, but very clean and as advertised. There were 5 of us (two adults and three teen children) and had a good sleep. It was nice to have a (small) work area too. We'd stay again!
