Parking facilities are difficult/confusing to exit from on foot.. Along with the pass key for the parking building, there should of been a page showing egress methods. Poor communication methods to reception There is no notice/sign advising any contact number when reception is not manned -which seemed to be all King's Birthday morning plus most of the preceding Sunday. Outrageous bond Strange layout at reception No daily room service/replenishment of drink sachets, cleaning, etc. They were meant to call me next biz day to discuss payment -they didn't. The worst Quest we have stayed in.

We were very comfortable in this little apartment and it was well-situated, being handy for local shops and restaurants. We had everything we needed for self catering, although the oven could have done with a clean and the tumble dryer wasn't very good. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Quest as a chain.

Convenient as is central to shops

Street noise one of our two nights kept us awake. Washer/dryer combo (computerized) was too sophisticated for our brains and took a long time to unlock. Then, the clothes were still very wet… Kitchen was adequate.

Staff is very friendly and helpful

Great value for money, near the center of Hamilton. Room itself was great, very comfortable bed, spacious living area and kitchen, as well as a washer. Next time i am in Hamilton will definitely stay here, near where i needed to be for work at Seddon Oval, and wasn’t too expensive. Checkin process was also easy, friendly front desk staffer who should be given a raise for shuttling between the 2 quest properties in Hamilton. Other quest i have stayed at as well and only have good things to say about that as well

Check in was a bit odd (no one was there, I think due to the holiday, so it was just talking to someone through a remote speaker). Parking extremely limited, wasn't available behind the building (though the city has low-cost options not too far away). That said, it was a very nice apartment. Clean, updated, washer/dryer single unit, full kitchen. Bed was comfortable, location is downtown Hamilton. Price was reasonable. Overall enjoyed my stay!

Overall we enjoyed staying here. Apartment was spacious, comfortable and conveniently located. We paid for secure parking and was glad we did. Car park area was close to accommodation and had good security. Apartment had good amenities and was close to shops, eateries and river. I had not noticed the reference to special instructions for check in and this was more involved than I had anticipated. I would advise guests to make contact in advance of stay, to deal with bond and possible need for out of hours check-in. Pre-payment was not sufficient on its own to secure entry.

Good location. TV unit is outdated and the tv channels are extremely limited. They could do with some form of smart tvs in the rooms

We were promised reception would be open until 7pm, it was not we arrived just after 6 and reception and the building was closed. Fortunately the night manager arrived just as I was about to turn away and she let us in. We were promised by email that we would have a King bed (Jacqs) it was not and personally I think it was a double. Uncomfortable night. Then to cap it off they charged us for the night after we had paid in advance. NOT HAPPY.

Checking in was a nightmare, it’s not explained well that if you book on a weekend that it’s highly likely after hours and you have to go somewhere else to check in. Then parking was extra, and not easy to find. Instructions on how to exit the place of parking was not explained at all so you looked it till you finger it out. And it’s a long walk which is definitely an inconvenience when time is of the essence. Simple instructions would of been helpful. Manager was an idiot when checking in, asking and wanting Photo ID when he could’ve use discretion as I had confirmation emails they had also been speaking to me via phone before hand and they made it difficult to book in. I will not book again ever. From now on I will be only be going or booking accommodation with Novatel Tainui At least they are respectful to their guests
