I stayed at Hotel Le Clos once before and it was lovely. During this stay, our room was inundated with flies. They were on the windows, on the lights above our bed and in the bathroom. I called for a few days and nothing was done until the night before we were leaving. We were finally moved. We spent most of our nights sitting in the lobby until it was bedtime, which was the only time we dared to go in the room. A staff member said there might be a dead winter rat in the wall. It was so bad we tried to book a flight home a day early. Staying at this hotel totally ruined what should have been an amazing vacation.

Great hotel in the heart of Old Quebec. Can’t beat the location. Cool antique interior. We stayed 2 nights, the room was small (as expected) but we didn’t spend much time inside. The bed was comfortable, My only minor complaints are that our Nespresso pods weren’t refilled when they cleaned the room- there was only decaf left, including in the kitchen downstairs which was stocked with “extras”. The chair and one of the lamp shades in our room were badly water stained, and the mirrors were crooked.

No staff to assist with no elevator. Had to help another lady bring her luggage up to her room. AC was very poor as in our area was central air with no control. The display overall was not liked. Not good ambiance from the displays. However, great area for walking as you are in the heart of old city.

Wifi was subpar. Not able to control room temp.

Hotel in excellent location. Staff were great. Not on premises however they texted quickly when we needed something. Issue with parking overcharge and they refunded immediately. I would for sure stay again.

This was a lovely hotel located next to everything in old Quebec. I would definitely go back!

The location is very centrally located. There is limited parking behind the building, which must be pre booked. The room was lovely and charming, but a bit tired. For example, the bathroom fan didn’t work. Check-in is done by a code and we were sent the wrong code and couldn’t get into our room which was a bit frustrating but quickly rectified.

Beautiful and unique hotel in the heart of Old Quebec City. Close to many restaurants and shops. Loved our stay!

Our room was very cold. Could not regulate the temp. Otherwise, was very comfortable & great location. Staff receptive to us.

- Vou dar nota maxima pelo candelabro (brincadeira pois quando estavamos fazendo o check um dos donos nos contou uma história sobre o candelabro que é um lindíssimo destaque no hotel) Hotel muuuuito bem localizado. Na parte alta da cidade, na rua do Chateau Fairmont e cheio de lojas, restaurantes e bares (inclusive jantamos no Bello - um restaurante ao lado do hotel..Recomendo) Hotel antigo (como toda a cidade) mas com um charme incrível. A limpeza estava impecável. Ficamos em um apartamento bom, com espaço ideal. Hotel não possui elevador. Ficamos no terceiro andar (para nós não foi nenhum problema mas, se houve problema de locomoção, pode entrar em contato com o hotel com antecedência tenho certeza que eles vão atender). No quarto há uma cafeteira e o hotel deixa algumas cápsulas. Todos que falamos no hotel foram extremamente cordiais. Recomendo demais e voltaria com certeza.

Very unique experience with full independence in and out. Room was beautiful and very quaint. Parking was a challenge and was not clear at all. We had to park some distance away at city hall. Need to be very clear that parking is basically not available and you have to find your own if you can.

Wow!! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and so was our room. You have the option to have your room cleaned or not with the door plaques. The parking is limited, but the hotel is so engaged and often texting you during your stay if you need assistance. We were able to find a garage close by at their recommendation. The room was a stunning blend of old and new. It retained its charm with all of the modern amenities. The bathroom was very modern as was the shower, which was great! Convenient location in the heart of the old city, walkable distance to the plains of Abraham, the Frontenac, and many other historic landmarks. Our stay was so amazing!

Very cold at night. No heat control, rad did not work. The maintenance people do not work weekends, so they brought up a small heater. Otherwise nice.

I really wanted to like it. I love Victorian homes and history. This hotel is more like an air bnb with no staff aside from cleaners that stop in. The desk is unmanned and they don’t answer when you message them with issues. You are texted a code for the front door and your room. No actual customer service or hospitality. The cleaners came to our room once and said they would come back but didn’t, so no cleaning in the 4 days we were there. Our room had dirty dishes left and items from the previous guests. Along with bottles of cleaning spray. The spa in the bathroom was broken. This was our honeymoon and it was just unfortunate as we were really looking forward to it. The room was in disrepair with unfinished holes filled with dried mud. The AC did not keep the space cool at all. We couldn’t get the room below 25 c. We ended up leaving a day early. The community kitchen only had cold water for washing dishes and dirty dishes were left from other guests. It just felt unclean.

Weekend getaway to old Quebec city!! Absolutely beautiful hotel, it was so perfectly decorated for where we were!! The location could not be better! Everything is self serve, which I actually really enjoyed!
