We loved staying here so much. The ladies were so nice, helpful and a joy to be with. The room was very comfortable and luxurious!

Lovely rooms! Clean, fresh and cosy! Didnt try the breakfast but the common area is great, both indoor and outdoor seating. Complemetary coffee, water and biscuits whenever you need it. They have us great recommandations for the area. Easy to get around. Had a great stay! Will definitely come back!

Casa Mathilda is in a great location for exploring Barcelona - a 5 minute walk to 2 different metro stations in opposite directions to catch different lines & equally close to bus stops. Two small grocery markets within steps of the outer front doors that lead you into the lobby where a lift is available (when someone doesn’t forget to properly close the doors or isn’t being worked on) to take you to the hotel on the 2nd floor, which feels safe. The staff were very friendly, the property comfortable with a lovely back patio. Easy to arrange for taxi pick ups from/to the airport & elsewhere. My only complaint is that we were told upon check in that we’d have to change rooms after our 2nd night & for myriad reasons, this was quite an inconvenience to us during our 5 night stay. I would have appreciated being informed of this prior to our arrival, and even though they felt the 2nd room was “better”, the street noise we didn’t have in the 1st room was preferable. Offer of at least a breakfast would have been appreciated for the inconvenience of not being able to completely unpack to do the the laundry we’d planned to do after checking in, and to have to rush to change rooms the morning we had a timed booking.

A great little B&B! They reached out a few days before to confirm our arrival time as the reception desk is only open 8:30 -5:30. The room was clean and quiet, breakfast was good (€12.00 each). The location was convenient for our Sagrada Familia and Casa Milla visits. Lots of choices for cafes, bakeries, & restaurants nearby. A short walk to the B24 bus to Park Guell, but be sure to get your tickets in advance.
