Excellent service and location.

Very limited breakfast selection -

The rooms were very large but needs a refresh with carpets and paint. Location was exceptional- walking to Toshogu shrine and the Shinkyo bridge. Had to walk up and down a huge hill to get to the hotel but the views were incredible. A bit far from the station and their shuttle was not reliable enough to count on to get to the station on an early timetable. Breakfast was classically served and delicious but the same every morning. There was no onsite onsen which would have been perfect given it is a historic hotel.

朝食は、良かった。 コーヒー、紅茶は、もう少しまめに巡回した方が良い。 バーには、行くチャンスがなかったが、外から見た感じでは、クラシックで、素敵。

朝食、お部屋、とても素晴らしかった。 クラッシックな建物を楽しむなら古さも味があっていいですね。

Great location. Property could use a refresh and better amenities - gym, buffet breakfast or more a la carte options (too limited as a vegetarian).

建物、バスルーム等施設は歴史を感じさせるが、掃除が行き届いて清潔に保たれて、古き伝統を大切にされている事が随所に実感でき素敵なホテルです。

Amazing old style hotel. Loved the charm. Bar was incredible and steak restaurant just down the driveway was the best !

歴史あるホテルなので設備は古いものの食事、スタッフ、設備の管理等が全て一級のクオリティで感動しました。

スタッフのホスピタリティが素晴らしいです。

友人夫婦と私とデラックスツインを二部屋とりましたが私の部屋はトイレとバスが一緒で洗面台はビジネスホテルのユニットバスのように小さく化粧品をおくスペースもありませんでした。部屋にはメイクスペースもなくとても不便で使いにくかったです。配慮の足りない部屋割りにがっかりしました。

Staffs are kind and polite. The room and other facilities are clean. The foods are great.

施設は歴史の分だけ古かったけれど清潔に整えられていました。何より夕食、朝食全て美味しかったです。日光に行く機会があればまた泊まらせていただきます。ありがとう

スタッフさんの、サービスはとてもよかったです！ですが、、深夜番のおじさんスタッフが入口カウンターでマスク片方だけ外し、椅子に座り、私達がいても携帯をずーっといじっていました、その1人だけが良くないだけで、後は全員最高のサービスでした！BAR担当のマスターも最高でした！！お部屋は綺麗でした。体洗うものがなかったのでスポンジなどあれば助かると思いました。温泉がないので、お部屋にいる時間が長いので、ネトフリなど観れるようになれば良いなと思いました。ご飯美味しかったです。また、行きたいと思います。
