The overall environment is good and we enjoyed our two days stay. Could walk up to 1km on the beach. The only negative thing that really need consideration from the hotel management is rooms are smelly. They are too old and need renovating. Nevertheless, nice staff, delicious buffet with all sea food stuff. Worth mentioning is I read about someone who commented here about the hotel being closer to the Daya bay nuclear power plant;that is not a nuclear power plant. It is a coal fired power plant. We drove to its entrance. The Daya bay nuclear power plant is far from that area. I worked on that project when Alstom was building it.
A pleasant experience with lots of thing to play in the hotel. However, the location is not quite good so you will expect to stay in the hotel all day. Luckily, you always can find something you like in it.

It is one of the worst Sheraton I have ever stayed at. Air conditioning was terrible. We asked them to fix it. Someone did come twice but that was of little help. Food was bad. Room was dirty. Asian restaurants had cockroaches below the dining tables. Facility was poorly maintained. Most of the pools were closed. Steam and Sauna were not turned on. The lifeguard at the beach would not let anyone into the sea (NOT BECAUSE OF THE TYPHOON WARNING) but because he said he was the only one on duty and in no position to manage safety of 25 odd people wanting to sea bathe. The management of this facility has no "love" for the work it is paid to do OR they are not given the resources by the management that they need to manage the place.
The only good thing was that they allowed me an early check in and gave me a free room upgrade.

The hotel is in view of the Daya Bay Nuclear Power Plant. In fact, it's the only thing you can see as you overlook what's a poor excuse for a beach. The plant literally within 5 km (3.11 mi) of the pools and beach. The food was terrible; everything tasted like seafood. The air conditioning was malfunctioning, but this was fixed by a repairperson. In the end, be warned. This hotel has employed a photographer who could only be described as a genius for making the hotel not look like the bad experience that awaits you.
Located in a beautiful island but a little far from city center.
Decoration is a little old but room is very clean. Stuff are very nice.

Beautiful resort with multiple pools in a tropical setting. Buffet available as well as a sit down Chinese restaurant. They offer a BBQ late at night down by the sea but small portions for the price. If you like a quiet place where you can just relax this is excellent. Very romantic.

Nice ocean view, except lobby every where else is mosiquto free which is better than most resorts in China. Lots of nice open area to sit and relax around the pools. But the beach is tiny compared to other resorts in the neighbourhood. Room is clean but housekeeping was not up to standard, we found the black writing board underneath the bed lining which housekeeping admitted that they won't noticed it during changing bed sheets. In general, staff don't speaks English but are very friendly.
