We experienced a 16+ hour power outage during our stay at DeBambu Hotel in Málaga. When the power went out, we were told to wait until the next day— which is absolutely unacceptable. No lights, no fridge, no phone charging, no AC, etc. We had cheeses and other food in the fridge, which all spoiled. The hotel promised a full refund (we have written proof) but pushed us to Expedia. They’ve since ignored all refund requests, and now Expedia is considering cancelling the claim due to no response from the hotel. This is a clear failure in service and responsibility. We will be escalating this further. DO NOT STAY HERE.
