The breath taking views and quiet town was definitely the vacation these joints needed. The hotel was beautiful and staff was always helpful and available for any questions

Beautiful scenery. Very quiet. There was an event in the lobby and we were housed on the first floor. We could not hear anything. The noises came from the outside window. The shower was amazing. There were 2 highly rated restaurants located on property that we didn’t get to try. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful historic Inn close to the entrance to the Skyline Drive. Quiet, comfortable rooms and both restaurants were very good.

We booked a suite for 4 adults and 1 small child. The pull out sofa bed was about as old as the hotel. The room was much smaller than the internet pictures made it look. In the pictures, there appears to be a large dining table. This table is in a common area outside of room. The staff was great and the food was excellent. We were very disappointed in the size of the room and cleanliness of the sitting area furniture.

What a gem—traveling through the National park, wanted to stop midway, and there were slim pickings until I found this place. Front desk staff was friendly, bartender in the bar/restaurant was friendly (sat at the bar, she gave me the remote to the bar TV). Rooms are small but clean and nice. Glad I picked this place!

We really liked the restaurant on site. It was excellent. We loved the historic history. We felt safe. We were traveling with bikes and felt that they were secure. Would definitely come back for a longer stay

This is a historic property in a good location. Clearly, it was well designed. Little flights of stairs everywhere, however. Grounds are nice. The room was comfortable but showed wear. The bathroom needed refreshing. The small TV is in some kind of credenza. Awkward. On the positive side there were good windows at least one of which could be opened. No breakfast or lunch in the winter. In the evening, the Speakeasy food was quite good. Friendly staff gave good advice.

The only thing that my wife and I had a hated time with was the heater/cooling. The fan kicked on and off about every minute making it hard for us to sleep. It was quite noisy. Everything else was great.

Historical, nice location!

The Property was clean and taken care of. Very well set up! Parking was convenient and easy. There was no fridge in the room, which I was surprised over, feel like a mini fridge in your room is just expected. Overall, would stay again and very close to Luray Caverns.

Pleasant change from the chain hotels. Enjoyed dinner at the restaurant.

Breakfast menu and food were very good. Keurig coffee makers in each room would be a nice amenity. Very strong deodorizer smell in room (almost nauseating).
