Staffs were wonderful.. Hazel and crew. Were very nice.. However: my booked rooms roof was leaking. Second room#5 was the best. The third nights room had smells and had to climb to my sleeping area. Middle of the night had to find my way down to the washroom going steep stairwells….

Casa Ellul is a small gem with an excellent restaurant. The chef was able to devise an outstanding dinner for us based on our vegan requirements. The staff were extraordinarily helpful, even coming around a tea time with treats. The location is in the historic part of Valleta but is still very quiet. Recent renovations have restored the character of the building with a modern touch.

I definitely expected more from this hotel. Having stayed in other Small Luxury Hotels, this one was a disappointment. The location was great and The View off the balcony was fantastic. My check-in was great, but the next day the front desk person didn't really understand or speak English. When I asked if he could speak any other languages he said only English. He was kind, respectful, and tried to be as helpful as possible, but it was very frustrating trying to communicate. Finally, we left in a hurry and so I left behind an article of clothing. I called them up and told them what it was and where it was. There was no question in my mind whether or not I had left it and I told them exactly where I had left it. Nonetheless, despite multiple phone calls, I was told that I had left nothing behind and tough luck because housekeeping must be telling the truth. Shameful for such a hotel.

this boutique Hotel earns every one of the stars and positive feedback it gets. The physical setting and location were exquisite. The staff made the whole experience a 10 out of 10.

This sweet little boutique hotel within Old Town Valletta met our needs perfectly for three nights prior to boarding a cruise ship. They can arrange a shuttle from the airport for you so that door-to-door access is possible. Outstanding restaurant in-house (Risette). Great staff. We absolutely loved it.

Casa Ellul is an exceptional gem in Malta, and my stay there was nothing short of delightful. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, blending modern luxury with historic charm. Rand and Fiona were particularly fabulous, going above and beyond to ensure that our experience was unforgettable. Their hospitality and attention to detail made us feel right at home, providing personalized recommendations and making every interaction memorable. Overall, while the hotel is a wonderful retreat, it’s the dedicated and caring staff that made our stay extraordinary. I highly recommend Casa Ellul for anyone looking to experience the best of Malta.

Chambre spacieuse très ,très bien placé dans Valette . J’étais avec ma fille qui est décoratrice et nous aurions bien voulu assister a la rénovation avec eux car dans notre chambre voisine il y avais des ouvriers, tres,très discret d’ailleurs qui rénovés une chambre la numéro 4 est elle trop belle :) La gentillesse de tout le personnel !!! Nous vous remercions tous pour votre et écoute et votre attentions. super petit déjeuner et les cookies a la cacahuèteeeeeeee une vraie tuerie !!! Je recommande cet hôtel pour qui chaque clients compte .

Excellent central location. Lots of bars, restaurants and sights nearby. Room small and basic (to be expected in a small boutique hotel) but clean and well maintained. Had balcony which was nice, and gave additional space. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful.

Wonderful staff. Delicious breakfast with lots of options. Super comfy and beautiful bedroom and amenities. Great, central location. We'd definitely recommend and return.
