Gorgeous property. Wonderful staff. Nice rooms with beautiful views. The service is exceptional. Food is good. Breakfast included. Decent location.

Unique design decor and large comfortable rooms. But the location is very far from other sites. You need to taxi in and taxi out. Area around hotel needs attention.

Hacienda San Angel was an exquisite blend of ancient charm and rustic elegance. It possesses a magical atmosphere infused with the soul and comfort of a beloved friend's home. Beyond the historic walls lie a series of courtyards planted with vibrant flora and comfortable seating for reading, conversation or enjoying the warmth of the sun. It felt like you were staying inside someone’s house instead of a hotel, but with all the hotel amenities. It was a great experience; very quiet. There weren’t any kids when we went. We had the San Jose suite which was at the highest level. You have the option to eat the continental breakfast anywhere in the Hacienda. Ad was a little deceiving because it isn’t on the beach and there is no gym. There aren’t any elevators; except for the Michelin star restaurant.

We had our Wedding here and it was the most lovely experience. The staff was so accommodating and friendly especially Luis he catered to are every whim. We will 100% be coming back again. We hated to leave.

What a wonderful place to stay, so beautiful! The hotel has alot of character and the staff is very friendly and welcoming! We will definitely be back and stay longer next time! We enjoyed it so very much!!!

The hacienda is a beautiful place, with historic charm and very well maintained. We arrived on a Friday, parking is a challenge, it would be great if they had valet parking or best to use a taxi. The staff is friendly and we stayed at the San Miguel presidential suite. It’s the best room with so much space and a balcony bigger than most apartments. You get 270 degree view of the city, mountain and ocean and my God what a view. The food options in the restaurant are fantastic, and they have a mariachi band playing during dinner. The mariachi band sang beautifully and I appreciated that they weren’t obnoxiously loud, interrupting a perfectly nice dinner. I had a great experience, make sure to experience every corner of the hacienda, the details and architecture are so beautiful. Thanks to the owners and staff for maintaining this hidden gem, we will be back soon.

From the moment we were greeted at the door we felt at home. Lovely, lovely small hotel with interesting history. Every person working here was so pleasant and accommodating. The mgr. has some very sweet , small rescue pups she brings to work and they were a pleasure. We were greeted each morning by Luis who took the time to talk with us and remembered how we liked our morning coffee and he just made us feel so welcome each time we saw him. I highly recommend this lovely hotel. If you do t stay here you should save a night to enjoy dinner in their rooftop restaurant for delicious food, fine service, amazing sunset and live music.

This was a beautiful hotel/hacienda with amazing service and food options. Will definitely be returning to this gem.

The place is quite unique with its opulent colonial ambience. The property has quite a selection of 17th-19th century European and Mexican antiques. The 3 pools were clean and relaxing. The dinner with an authentic mariachi band was truly a memorable experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs.

Hacienda San Angel is unbelievably awesome!

Absolutely loved San Angela from the moment you walk in your awe struck with beauty and architecture. The whole staff was friendly and welcoming the entire time. The location is perfect for shopping and dinning. We didn’t rent a car this time and honestly probably wouldn’t have used it. unless you really wanted to go somewhere further away or down the coast every thing you need is a short 6-8min walk. There is a lot of stairs to get down to the boardwalk or ocean but they are totally doable and get easier with time and practice. Would 💯 recommend the hacienda to everyone.

Excellent all round

This place is an absolute gem in the middle of PV and yet so quiet, like a stunning, elegant, hospitable sanctuary that I didn't want to leave! I have dined here before in their amazing restaurant (with the most beautiful and different Mariachi that I have ever heard! so quiet and elegant), and have always wanted to stay here. The staff is so incredibly attentive, they take such genuine care of you with such kindness. The property is beautifully appointed with antiques and a history that they share with you through all kinds of interesting written information if you are interested to know more. The rooms are so comfortable, comfortable beds, filtered water in the whole property, multiple swimming pools and lovely lounge areas, amazing food. I can't speak highly enough about this property! You really could just stay here the whole time in PV and enjoy immensely. And it is also a very close walk to the Malecon and some other great restaurants if you would like to venture out.

Quiet. Attentive staff

This property is outstanding and the staff is superb! I would recommend to the property that they upgrade internet service in the rooms to provide better high speed experience. Other than that, it was wonderful!
