The room was big but the ceilings were sloped so unfortunately ended up hitting our heads quite a few times. There is also the extraction system right outside the window, which is quite loud although it went off at about 10pm and came back on at 7am. We would stay here again but not in the room we had.

Had a lovely two night stay. Really good breakfast and evening meal. Relaxed bar area with good choice of drinks.

Received the room i requested, spotless, tea & cofee, milk & water available. Staff very friendly. Vegetarian roasts the best we ever had. Breakfast wonderful.

We arrived later than planned and called ahead - this wasn't a problem. Room was clean, shower hot with great pressure, bed super comfy and breakfast was delicious (we'll definitely be back to dine for lunch or dinner!). Place is wonderfully done throughout and staff all kind and approachable. We could hear loud snoaring from the adjacent room (nothing some white noise can't drown out on our phones!) but we appreciate it's part of staying in an old characterful property. Great value for money and would absolutely stay again.

Really nice stay,staff were friendly and helpful,lovely accommodation,room was noisy with the traffic but that can’t be helped,room near us was very noisy ,think people should be considerate and aware of this,breakfast was really nice,enjoyed it .
