Nice stay for the price. Good breakfast, clean rooms, working heat/cooling unit, pleasant staff.

The staff were visiblyon drugs. The floor in my room felt like it was going to give out at any minute, the jacuzzi in my room was nasty so i wasnt able to use it. Not happy period.

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was great. Very clean place.

Fifth straight year I've stayed at this location. Every time the improvements to the location make it easier to keep coming back. Great priced rooms, breakfast is good.

Close to where we where going

Check was difficult. We couldn’t get anyone to come check us in and had to call the phone number. Turns out she was right in the office ten feet away!

i was put in a handicap room because of some bird show here in des moines . the lights on the right side of the room didn"t work and the only heater was on the left side of the room so it didnt heat very well. there was no hot water in the bathroom sink and the shower leaks water all over the floor. staff are friendly tho and at least I was offered breakfast early due to having to go to work but I think that was due to the many people that were there.I stayed here alot this month due to the cold weather and believe I should have gotten a small discount

This was a great hotel. It was very quiet...they stress that, but being next to an amusement park, I'm sure there are a lot of families, etc. The room was great; clean and the heater/ac worked well.

Small bathroom, cleanliness could be improved

Staff during the evening shift asked us for a $200 “just in case” charge when we had checked in, that much seemed absurd to me, I knew hotels did that but every time it has never been nearly as much. When my sister in law checked in, she didn’t get charged. Also it took several phone calls in order to get my second reservation cancelled, the next morning I called and the lady that answered was a sweetheart and fixed the problem right away. All in under 5 minutes, when the night before it took me 2 hours and nothing had been fixed. Whoever that lady in the AM shift was, you were great!

Morning breakfast was excellent! The staff was very nice and helpful.

Close to Adventureland

We stayed one night. Hotel is nice. Breakfast was good. My only complaint is the pillows.

Attention to detail packs a bit. Light bulbs out, half the bed lights didn’t come on, paint on the walls didn’t match or wasnt properly blended. Overall stay was ok.

Comfy beds, good breakfast. Only negative was that the room did not smell clean. Kind if a musty smell. Also carpet didnt appear very clean

Family friendly and affordable. Its walking distance to Adventureland. Their breakfast bar was wonderful. We usually struggle with breakfasts hotels because of our picky eaters. Our kids enjoyed making their own yogurt parfait and ate every last drop. Our room was CLEAN, modern and spacious. We enjoyed our view to the park from our room. We plan on going back & have already raved our stay to the staff before leaving and letting our friends know about this BW.

Check in was really easy. Check in staff was very nice & friendly. All staff we encountered was so very nice! Breakfast area was neat & clean & very well stocked with lots of delicious choices. Will definitely stay here again!
