Useful local hotel to our home where we stayed the night while the house was going through renovations; clean room, lovely large space, plenty of seating. Staff were very attentive although I noticed that later in the evening there was a queue to reception as only one staff attended to them and the other was busy elsewhere. Bar was good, not a huge range but had what we needed. Breakfast was good too - a good range of choices and everything was fresh. Could do with some proper local produce for the cooked breakfast.

It was a lovely place to stay and air conditioning a bonus.

It's a a very clean and modern environment

Comfortable beds, nice decor, air conditioning was great with all the hot weather. Shower was nice, staff lovely! Only gripe was a dog barking from 7 in the morning when we wanted a little lie in but that's not in the hotels control if guests dogs are barking. Only mention it as it's worth considering if you book into a pet friendly hotel there is a small chance of noise disturbance

Overall the hotel was good, only one night out three I was kept up by couple arguing outside my room and police was called. Then couple could have been moved I think

Everything else is ok apart from parking. I've got parking ticket Although I've paid for parking and when I spoke with the Manager she first said email me we will sort it out and I did so but for 14 days I didnt received any reply from them and I've chased them again and they turned up saying they cant do anything. I've to contact directly to the parking company and have to sort it out by myself

Quite noisy within the corridor area, cleaner never came to clean the room so had to ask for clean towels, even though i left the sign on the door.

Hotel was ok, Plenty of parking and the staff are friendly enough.

Cosy room, nicely designed with necessities in place including an iron & ironing board. Aircon fully operational. Breakfast lots of choices from full English, to cereals & continental. Addional touch was a bowl of variety of fresh food.

Room was boiling hot. No air con in room working! Especially needed with the heat wave. Extra fan was not brought to the room, nor was there much of an effort to do something even though we were dripping with sweat from the hot room. Fan that was in the room was absolutely filthy, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a look time. Stains up the wall, dirty shower screens, cobwebs, filthy skirtings, stains on floor. Outside of the hotel looks nice and decorated but shame about the experience. Paid £90 odd for a dirty and unpleasant stay.

Air conditioning the best! Staff very friendly and helpful but not as cool as the air conditioning

Room was spotless, staff very friendly and helpful, air-conditioning didn't work

We stayed one night to break up a long journey with young children. We arrived late and left relatively early. The price was very good value so I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, clean and even had air con which during the heat wave was wonderful! My husband remarked on how comfy the mattress was! The shower was powerful, breakfast was tasty and plentiful and we could not fault our stay at all. Thank you for a great stay!

Positives: 'cosy room' is not as small as you might expect, big ensuite bathroom with large walk-in shower, very effective sound proofed windows, good AC, helpful staff, ok location Negatives: additional £3.50/day parking charge, very creaky staircase up to 2nd floor.

The staff member who checked us in very late at night was excellent, welcoming and friendly. The room was pretty good with just a few bits that might need attention (if you look closely). Great location for breaking up a journey like we used it for.

Lovely hotel and staff, good breakfast, quiet room. Bathroom tiny, had to stand in shower to get in bathroom! Bathroom door worn out from wet conditions looked tired.
