Prachtig hotel! Direct aan het strand, meerdere zwembaden en restaurants, goede service en alles is voorzien. Je kan echt zonder zorgen genieten.

Traumhafter Blick vom Zimmer mit direktem Meerblick. Pools waren sauber, aber kalt. Infinity-Pool mit phantastischem Weitblick aufs Meer. 12 Liegen direkt am Infinity-Pool (kostenlos) aber sehr begehrt. Leider haben manche Leute die Unsitte zu reservieren und dann Stunden wo anders zu verbringen. Unverschämt und unsozial. Aber solche Egoisten trifft man überall. Personal sehr freundlich und behilflich. Täglich 2x Zimmerdienst. Sehr reichliches Frühstück. Zwar immer das Gleiche, aber aufgrund der Fülle der verschiedenen Speisen hat man auch Abwechslung.

habe es persönlich toll gefunden. Die Lage ist allerdings nur mit einem Ersatzwagen zu empfehlen! Das Zimmer wurde nach unserer Reklamation sofort angepasst. Als Entschädigung wurde die Garage kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Zimmerservice bzw. die Hausdamen haben alles bestens im Griff – ich bedanke mich persönlich bei dem gesamten Personal. Übrigens sind auch die Kellner toll. Das Frühstück kann ich nur empfehlen, und ich würde selbstverständlich gerne wiederkommen! Den Spa-Bereich konnten wir allerdings nur gegen Aufpreis benutzen. Very comfortable hotel with amazing ocean views, clean, nice beds, excellent service. Breakfast was great, plenty of food to choose from. Decor is modern and fits very nicely with wilderness of Madeira. Strongly recommend for high quality hotel.

Lovely welcome from Patricia when we arrived and she was super helpful during our stay. Pool areas well kept and very comfortable. Breakfast was v good and the lovely Whitney served us who was very charming and efficient. Only downside was a very obvious’old’ blood stain on my duvet cover which was a surprise that the maids were ok putting in someone’s bed. It got changed but not great.

Likes-location. Calheta is a nice place the hotel is in a prime spot. Facilities very good. Pools and views at the breakfast are excellent Dislikes-we are members in the Savoy Signature group. This hotel does not come up to the standards of the Savoy Palace for example. Why? For us this seems to be a younger persons resort who may except an inferior standard. The foyer and corridors are dark and frankly depressing. For a relaxing resort one would expect light and brightness to lift the soul. Trying to negotiate dark stairs or very dark corridors was not nice. The suite room was not in great shape. There was staining on the sofa that looked like bodily fluids! Only one sink in a five star suite room, really? It no plug so wasted water. Doors and skirting edges looked in poor condition. Kitchenette fridge was effectively the mini-bar. Floor surface was lifting on the joins and badly scratched. The staff. Front desk were great. The restaurant staff less so. They looked poorly motivated and not trained very well. Savoy Palace is a world of difference! Staff here are not very proactive or looking out for things. Maitrede not on it I had to chase staff for cups, cutlery and missing items. Coffee at pool bar and it was cold! Today, various items at the breakfast buffet had run out (eg scrambled egg). The overworked chef apologised as he wasn’t told and it would take “some time” to do more. No soya milk or alternatives to dairy No nuts. Needs a serious shake up!

This resort is amazing. The food alone is worth the visit. Beautiful rooms, pools and views. It seems designed more as a couples venue as the shower and toilets are glass walled but at least enough obscuring glass for some privacy. Could make a friends’ trip a bit awkward if you don’t know someone well. But still a brilliant place.

Hôtel particulièrement sombre (couloirs menant aux chambres en catégorie simple) et non-respect du silence par d'autres touristes la nuit. Dîner cher au buffet (40€ avec le choix d'une cafétéria...). Stationnement extérieur de l'hôtel pas pratique. Stationnement dans la rue au bonheur la chance... Transats des piscines rapidement occupés voire monopolisés dès le matin... Bar "Trabiche" : personnel qui cherche l'emplacement de transat quand bien même, je l'ai indiqué lors de ma commande de boissons...

Fantastisk hotell med flott beliggenhet i solfylte Calheta. Hotellet utmerker seg spesielt på kundeservicen, der alle er veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Alle restaurantene håndterte matallergier eksemplarisk, noe som ikke er en selvfølge. Stemningen på hotellet er veldig rolig og avslappende, både ved bassenget og ved solsengene nede ved havet. Både fellesområdene og hotellrommet var veldig rent, og det vaskes/ryddes flere ganger daglig. Vi kommer definitivt tilbake!!

Pools were very cold. Staff were hit and miss, some excellent some not. Had an issue with the room bill which took time to fix and they weren’t very apologetic, not what I would expect from a 5 star hotel. Room was good, could have been cleaner and the spec was cheap. Restaurant was overpriced and extremely slow but the view was amazing. Nice hotel but don’t expect 5 star anything, much more of a 4 star experience.

The hotel is just wonderful. From the facilities like the pool or the gym to the service and staff everything was very good. An extraordinary stay!!
