Check in fine, if you don't mind looking at your host's big belly through a hole, the size of a football, in his shirt! Host himself appears to be a bit shy and you have to do most of the talking, although the dog is very friendly. Whilst clean and comfortable the motel needs a lot of long overdue maintenance and the noise from the taps in particular are something else. Restaurant is not open at the moment, however breakfast and dinner are available in the rooms. This is the second time we have stayed here and the economical cost and the outstanding food (delivered on time) make the stay OK.

Restaurant and Bar not open, however meals could be ordered and delivered to room....both of us enjoyed the meals provided, both in the evening and at breakfast. Overall stay/food cost economical.

This was a great place to stay overnight. The beds were comfy and was located close enough to the city centre.

In need of an update. Friendly owners, restaurant and room service were not available at time of stay.

It was a good spot for an overnight stay driving between Sydney and Brisbane. Bed was comfy and staff was friendly.

Shame to have Fox turned off as could not watch the Football which is counter to advertising. Slight oversight and sad sign of current difficult environment

Our stay at the powerhouse motel was most enjoyable. We are looking forward to staying at this motel sometime in the near future. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was a bar and reasonably priced good quality dining room on site so we didn’t need to go anywhere else after arriving.

The reception staff member was not as friendly as I am used to in country motels. Not very forth coming with information unless asked.

The room was very clean. The bed comfy. Great amenities. It was a hot day when I arrived and it was wonderful to find that the air conditioner worked really well. Great location for staying a night while travelling.
