Clean, well-equipped and comfortable accommodation in Devonport. Friendly and helpful staff booked us in on arrival. The motel is well located and is a short drive from supermarkets and the CBD and proved to be convenient for access to the Spirit of Tasmania port.

Arrived prior to reception close at 6pm and treated as if reception closed at 4pm?!

Room was spacious, well appointed & clean. There was good communication for check in as we were arriving late due to arrival time of The Spirit from Geelong on day sail.

The Barclay surprised us. An older style Motor Inn with lots of room, very comfortable bed, little kitchenette and great shower. We liked the position to the waterfront and the lovely helpful staff. Indoor pool is great. Would stay here again.

Lovely clean room, a peaceful location, and an easy walk to city centre. The hosts were excellent, going above and beyond - i needed to check-in early as well as a late check-out and when it looked like my taxi wasn’t going to show up they even got me over to the Spirit of Tasmania. I’m not fond of travelling solo, so being looked after by such kind, caring people is a real pleasure.
