Really cool historic hotel. Warm and comfortable rooms. The showers don't have doors and go everywhere but still a lovely stay.

Great location for skiing - 5mins to car park for the shuttle. Lovely breakfast in the morning. Spa pool was perfect and very quiet!

This was an experience of a lifetime & we absolutely loved every single moment!! Highly recommended to anyone wanting to stay in an iconic place of Kiwiana heritage 10/10

Lovely clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed and pillows, wish we could have slept there again! We had dinner in the evening and shared the waffles in the morning, both meals excellent, nice beers on tap. Staff all lovely and very welcoming, friendly other patrons in the bar. Would stay again and highly recommend it to others!

We absolutely loved this unique, quaint hotel. Staff are friendly, food is very good. Just a little communication would have been nice regarding reception when trying to check in and out, also when ordering breakfast. We weren't sure where to go and to whom we should talk.
