I just stayed one night.The Denver tent was really lovely, with a really nice view, we stayed in denver tent 1. The Toilet and shower facilities were average for a camp. Everything was as expected and a nice night. Although the food truck was closed as they closed it a couple days before our stay which is unfortunate due to off season, but it all worked out and was alright. I would reccomend if your looking for some glamping in a beautiful area!

The glamping option was a novel idea. The tent was tidy, comfy and well equipped as was the shared kitchen mess.

Toilets need an upgrade and the kitchens by the tents need a microwave

The location was beautiful but the comfort of the stay could be improved with some outdoor lights so you can see what your'e eating for dinner and also a light to be able to see the toilet at night.

Some cutleries and utensils would have been nice

We had a late arrival check in and everything was prepared for us in an envelope with my name. Really easy and convenient.

Lake Hawea is stunning. Sitting on the deck of our large canvas tent, glass of wine in hand looking up at the night sky was fabulous. The tent was very comfortable and well set up. The only negative being the walk to the loo in the middle of the night.

Our stay at The Camp was magical. Unfortunately, we were only staying for 1 night in the Wanaka region, but would have definitely extended my stay if possible. We booked the Lakeside Cabin, would recommend. It had all the amenities travellers need and the location is just perfect with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Staff was genuine and helpful. The Camp Foodtruck is a must, great food with local beers, 10/10.

We stayed in cabin #1 (yellow) which was very comfortable and clean. We had a small view of the lake from our cabin which was cool. The bed was the most comfortable ever, so much that it was tough to get up in the morning 😉 The women's toilets and showers are quite far from cabin #1. It was nice to be able to swim in the lake from the small beach. The room is equipped with a small fridge, a kettle, a table and stools in front of a large window. Unfortunately, the kitchen is not equipped properly. There is almost no pots and pans. The kitchen is not wide enough because of the table in the middle, so when it is busy, it is really difficult to cook. When you rent a cabin, you have to rent a box with the plates and cutlery for $5/day.

Didn’t come to camp; stopover. Slept in Denver tent for one night. It was pretty magical. Cozy bed.

2nd time staying here, 1st time in the cabins, lots of room, bonus having a kettle and fridge unlike another camp down the road that we stayed the night before. Bathrooms always clean and conveniently located.

The glamping tent we stayed in was amazing. Unfortunately the bathroom facilities could really use an upgrade. Toilets were downright ugly and the showers had almost no water pressure. Need to tear the buildings down and start from scratch.

The tents were lovely and the location is stunning. However there was no maintenance team so the toilet on our site was out of order, we were the only tent without cushions on our chairs (because they had “run out”?) and all the grills weren’t working. When we asked about any of these things staff had no interest so this isn’t somewhere to stay if you have questions. Although it’s such a beautiful location I’d stay here again if the place was better maintained.

Beautiful location. The bell tent was great! Well-equipped clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and efficient. We would love to stay again!

This is a gem! Originally not excited about no en-suite, but the view and access to the lake were unbeatable! Walking to the shared amenities (shower and toilet) took nothing away from the beautiful view that was unobstructed by tents, campers, cars. The deck and chairs were most comfortable as was the loft bed. What a wonderful find

This was a fun adventure. I’d rate it higher because it was very good considering it was camping in a tent. But it was not a hotel nor was it intended to be a hotel. I’d definitely stay again. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We were right next to the lake.

Correspondait tout à fait à la description, endroit calme et paisible, confort et propreté de la chambre, nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour. Un petit rafraîchissement des sanitaires ne serait pas du luxe, c’est le seul point négatif que j’ai trouvé.
