This was a last minute stay at my go to halfway stop from Gold Coast to Tamworth. I jumped online an hour before arrival as I had planned to drive home in one hit but was physically exhausted from Tamworth Country Music Festival. The team checked me in quickly and offered help as I was clearly not feeling well. Even checkin on me this morning that I was ok to drive. HIGHLY recommend this hotel as the staff are always friendly and caring. Will keep coming back for all my long car trips to Tamworth via Tenterfield.

I would definitely recommend the Henry Parkes Motel. We stopped here on route to Brisbane, the family room we booked was very clean with everything you needed. The team at Henry Parkes Motel were very lovely and extremely helpful. The museum, shops and restaurants are all just a few minutes walking distance away. This place was recommended to us by friends.

Clean and tidy room. Only wish the spa or bath was fixed so we could use it.

Motel certainly needs a freshen up and is looking a little old , however staff were friendly and the services worked , also we found out they do not serve breakfast on the weekends so we had to go down the main street

The room was clean as judged by my wife who notices if something is not clean. The staff were courteous, and the restaurant food was very good.

Helpful and so welcoming

A lovely motel with an excellent restaurant. Just be aware, it is next to a highway so there is traffic noise.

The room I stayed in was modern and the bed was very comfortable.

Need new rollers on back screen door & glass door - very stiff. Couch/ sofa bed is too low. Very spacious rooms and generally nicely furnished, short walk to shops in main street.

It is good to see they now have microwaves in the room it would also be nice to see some cutlery and plates to utilise the toaster and microwave. Other than that, the rooms are clean and comfortable. I did not utilise the restaurant so I can't comment on that. The hot water could have been hotter, not sure how that is set up maybe I was at the end of the line.
