Old property needs renovation

The front desk staff were welcoming at check in. The room was clean and well presented. Was nice to see a coffee pod machine instead of sachets of instant coffee. Bathroom is small but clean and was great to have full size handwash, bodywash and shampoo in pump pack instead of dealing with tiny bottles and mini soap bars.

We had a bit of ant problem but maybe that was just the rain that made them come inside

The Gipps is a place you stay when you cant find anywhere else for a night. Itys not pretty and not particularly clean. Its also really noisy in the room, even though I had a room far down the end away from the road. Not somewhere you'd stay twice or for a few nights. The photos look pretty, be she ain't.

We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we checked in. Our room was comfortable, nicely appointed and very clean. No hesitation in staying again. Excellent location.

The bed was brilliant. If my bed is great I know my stay will be great!

I like this place because the bedding is just a duvet and pillows, no fancy undersheets or anything to annoy me. Regrettably though, ive stayed here twice and both times the cutlery/crockery and coffee machine havent been cleaned to proper standard. Staying here is great, just maybe dont use their kitchen.

Annie & Yan were super hosts and looked after everything we needed. Worth the stay!

The staff were so accommodating with an error on my side not reading the checkin close time. Not only accomodating, but friendly through the entire interaction. The room was clean enough & just the right size for a weekend where we weren’t there often and close enough to all amenities that we required.
