Third time staying there , always clean great place

This is a great place to stay, yes its a little old but very comfortable and clean. Even though couples dining was advertised the restaurant has been closed for a very long time. We stayed early January but the spa facilities were not available because the one person staff was on leave. Everybody deserves leave but to take that leave during the busiest holiday period is not ideal. In my opinion this hotel is dying, perhaps the spa business brings in some money but overall I suspect that the business model is out of date.

Room was clean, great pool and spa. all staff were friendly. Great location, close to town. Would recommend staying here.

Easy check in, very clean rooms, lovely view

Big rooms, two queens beds but is becoming a bit tired and dated

The bed itself was poor, we both rolled into the middle. It needs to be replaced. The room was noisy, we could hear people talking and walking around above us.

I’ve been coming here every year for the last four years and honestly can’t fault it. The rooms are super comfy, spotless, and really spacious. The location’s great too — close to everything but still nice and quiet. The hosts are always friendly and make sure everything’s perfect for your stay. It really feels like a home away from home. I keep coming back because it’s just that good. Highly recommend!

Definitely the spa in the room

Fireplace in our Presidential Suite wouldn't work that was a bummer. The TV was so old we couldn't even watch a movie or stream anything like some music on You Tube.

Liked the sauna and the room - be great if they had a functioning restaurant.

Clean and big room

The property is a bit out dated. When checking in, the lady at the front desk was not friendly and not helpful.

Great location

It’s a lovely quiet location, the beds are super comfortable and the pool was a delightful respite on a hot day.. What could be improved?? Cleaning down the sides of the couch would be a good idea (which would have netted the cleaner a couple of extra dollars if they had done so) …The Spa service flier in the room was a poorly photocopied A4 piece of paper and the A5 booklet had food stuck on one of the pages, simple upgrades, cleaning and professional printing would make it so much more enticing… a couple of the pool lounges had missing nuts in the uprights that they fell out and couldn’t be used properly,, the actual plunge spas indoors didn’t work when the button was pressed and the pool could be skimmed more often to remove plant debris… I have stayed several times and will do again at the Madison Spa Resort, but small simple upgrades and attention to detail would make it all so much better and a real go to destination..
