Bathroom shower tile was full of mold and window was broken. Bedroom was clean and fine. Would be nice to have regular cable tv. Had to use our own Netflix or prime which not everyone has. Breakfast was good. The door has big gaps around so doesn't feel very safe locked inside and the airconditioning unit was so loud you couldn't keep the room cool. But the staff are very friendly and hard working and the grounds and veiw are wonderful. Just could use a little more scrubbing.

The room was outdated. There was not body cream, hair nets or conditioner. The gentleman at the lobby thought was attentive and helpful

Beautiful views and very well maintained buildings. The cost was a little higher than other places we stayed but the area it was in is a good reason

Amazing location! Very lively. Beautifully maintained outdoors and surrounded area! I wish The curtains could be fully blacked out during night (the night bulb at the patio bothered all night) I wish to have Breakfast menu added with Fruits.

We had to ask each day for clean towels. The staff was very nice and polite and very accommodating. The breakfast was good, just wish it had lasted a little later. Parking on the upper deck was hard to get in and out of at times. I feel like pictures on the Internet need to be updated. It is definitely a 70s looking hotel that has been revamped. It was nice to be able to have a place to lay our head though! The facility could use updated electrical. I had to unplug their items so I could charge my phone. The water took forever to get hot and in the shower it would continue to go from hot to cold to hot to cold. Not a bad place to stay overall, just can’t give it a five star rating.

The grounds were lovely and quite liked the veranda.. beautiful view. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean, but decor and room somewhat dated. Room was on first floor and the foot pounding from the room was bothersome very early in the morning, not the management's fault but speaks to the date of the building. Nice proximity to the wonderful village of Baddeck. Price was reasonable.

We loved our stay here, the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast had hot breakfast as well ( eggs and sausage / bacon ) which made us happy. The location is very good, close to the Baddeck waterfront and Alexander Graham Bell National Historic site.

Decent hotel in a good location in Beatch. The breakfast was basic but nice with tasty eggs and good bread options. I thought it was all a decent for the price.

We had a lovely stay at the lodge, in one of the dog friendly rooms. The room was clean, and equipped with the essentials. The staff were friendly. The rooms are quite dated and could use some upgrades to the furnishings and pillows. We would stay again! Thank you.

The view and the grounds were beautiful, and breakfast was nice on the veranda. However I had thought I was staying in the main building and instead was in a motel room in the back which was disappointing. Having said that, it was quiet, clean and we slept well.

Nice and comforfable lodge with a nice water view. I stayed with my husband and we had a comfortable stay for 1 night. The room is clean and accessible with useful amenities. We love their continental breakfast, very satisfying.

We didn’t realize you could ask for a main floor room but the desk person helped us up with our luggage.

Very low standards. Toilet broke. Telephone in the roo.m was not working. Tv had only 2 channels. Shower water flow was good. Overall for the price we paid, the experience was very poor.

The floors in our room have been updated, but the overall feeling is the facility is a little worn. Nice views of the water and easy walk into town. Breakfast had enough to offer to get the day started.
