The beach was clean and beautiful view from our room and balcony! The room was nice and I liked that we took our breakfast back to our room to heat up and eat!

Elevators were broke the entire stay. As you use the stairs windowsills are dirty. Room was clean so I’m grateful for that.

Great beach stocked with plenty of chaise loungers and chairs. Sunsets from the balcony were awesome. Wish I had known about the elevator earlier.

We had a fabulous experience overall at this property-except for one thing-we were on the 3rd floor(great view) BUT we were not informed that there was no elevator in our building-made it very inconvenient trying to drag our luggage up 3 floors of steps. just be aware that only one building has a elevator. wish I knew before we booked our stay.

Great hotel, staff & water views. The only negative is the small shower.

View was beautiful! Grab and go breakfast had a nice selection. Maintenance and cleanliness of our room was not the greatest. The lock on the siding glass door was broken; so, there was no way to lock our room. Upon arrival there were used tissues on the chair, dirt under the beds, and hair in the shower.

The location and view are great. The room was comfortable but a little outdated for the high price tag.

The room is outdated, and the bathroom is equally so. The floor is excessively sticky, and spiderwebs are present in the ceiling. The level of cleanliness is questionable and requires further attention. While the view is spectacular, with direct access to the beach, all other amenities are located within a driving distance.

You can’t smoke on your balcony or on the beach. Shouldn’t that be posted on your website? Mostly elderly people staying here. You also can’t get room service if you only stay one night? I’ve never heard of that. Won’t be returning tbh

The location on the beach and the outdoor pool was great. The outside of the property was very well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms themselves need an upgrade. It’s very dated and the furniture needs upgraded.

Convenient to downtown Traverse City. Nice, clean place to stay but the rooms could use some updating. Beach was nice and plenty of chairs/loungers provided. Great views of the sunset.

The staff and location were great! We loved that it was right on the beach. The rooms could use a little touch up paint and updating. Our air conditioning worked but struggled at times. We had to turn it off for a little while because it was emitting a burning smell. Luckily the temps outside weren’t too hot the days we were there. We weren’t fond of the opening between the hot tub and bathroom area. These were minor things and overall we had no complaints regarding the hotel and enjoyed our stay here.

The air conditioner was unplugged and we could never get it to work correctly. We ended up having to leave the balcony door open to cool the room. Thank goodness we were on the third floor. The biggest drawback was absolutely NO housekeeping. We had to get our own towels from the office and I think the lady handing them out (grudgingly) was handing out her personal towels. The process was borderline confrontational. For what we paid for the room, this seemed to send a message of apathy, almost like, "You're here, just deal with it." It was disappointing to say the least.

We really enjoyed staying here. Had a great 1st level room with a walkout covered porch right on the beach. Weather not so great as it was cold and rainy, but still enjoyed!! Will definitely return.

Beautiful view of the bay. The vinyl floor was very dirty, needed to be properly mopped. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Its always a good time in traverse city staying at pointes north. The hot tub is always great to have in the room. The only thing i can literally think that they should get is smart tvs to be able to stream. They do have direct tv but not there to watch tv anyway. It was another successful stay at pointes north like all other times were.
