Quiet, clean and close to many amenities. We'll return again.

The king suite that my husband and I stayed in had a very comfortable bed with a well equipped full kitchen. Our unit was nicely updated too. Also, the hotel was in a good location for commuting between Courtney and Comox.

The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, and our kids loved the pool area. The perfect stay for our last night in BC - relaxing and an easy drive to the airport.

The hotel offers 5 star service and good value. The rooms are a little dated, especially the bathrooms. However, the property is well maintained and clean. There is a nice pool and a small but well equipped gym. Coffee, tea and apples are always available in the common area; and, from 3pm- 9pm excellent free baked cookies. There is a also a fine dining establishment on site.

The grounds were beautiful and the path along the river was very convenient. Room was also very comfortable and had everything we needed.

Always a wonderful time. The staff are exceptional and the outdoor pool is always great on your hot summer days

This is a lovely quaint hotel.

Spacious and clean, but the AC was very noisy, and not much in the way of amenities to justify the higher price.

The kitchens in the suites were wonderful and the hotel is very child friendly. The grounds around the buildings were lovely. Would definitely return for another stay.

Suites are well equipped with kitchen supplies. Bed was super comfortable. The grounds are beautiful to walk around and there is a lovely easy walking path along the river. Would highly recommend this hotel. We went to the Locals restaurant on site but we were disappointed. They didn’t have 2 appetizers in the menu and the chicken I wanted wasn’t available either. Ended up with a flavourful salad but not sure I will return.

Clean and lots of space in the room.

The Old House provides those little thoughtful extras that make your stay wonderful. From the lobby coffee machine and cookies to the convenient free laundry, it felt like they thought about everything to make our time in Courtenay special, even a towel to dry a soggy dig. Hope we get to return sometime soon.

Thanks great stay

Had a fire alarm go off early in the morning one night - no communication from the hotel staff as to why it went off, it was assumed once the alarm stopped we could return to our room. No compensation for the sleep disruption or even an offering. Was told I could use my BCAA for a discount at check in when I phoned about having a dog as no where to acknowledge that we had a dog when booking online but then was told at checkout that booking on Expedia I was unable to change the rate/apply any type of discount.
