We have just had a lovely stay at The Falcon. The hotel is spotless and beautifully kept. All the staff are amazing and most helpful. We had a bedroom on the front with a canal view. The only down side to this is that it was quite noisy. It is on the main road into the town and next to a pub. The food and gardens are great and we look forward to visiting again at some point.

The hotel was clean and spacious with large, bright rooms. We were greeted with kindness at every turn and made to feel very welcome. The breakfast was excellent, and we loved looking out onto the small river/canal that ran in front of the hotel. The garden out back and the extra sitting areas were a wonderful bonus. A lovely spot for sure.

Parking is limited. Dirty towel. Drain smell in bathroom. Noise from next door pup and hotel bins.

Lovely to be back - I was a waiter at the Falcon in the summers of 1959 and 1960, and was interested to see the changes / improvements since then - 65 years ago !

We had a brilliant time . The staff were friendly, location brilliant, easy parking,breakfast was really good, room was nice and clean with a canal view-nothing we would change. The hotel pub where we ate had lovely dairy free brownies!

Very bad weather, cold and windy. However, a very warm reception from the staff. Excellent food and friendly fast service.

With a warm welcome as impressive as the grand facade of The Falcon Hotel, we felt we had made the right choice as soon as we arrived. We had a large light double aspect family room at the front. All was clean, comfortable and appeared recently refurbished. We attended a family birthday party there too which was well-catered for.

Schönes Hotel, ein wenig in die Jahre gekommene Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal, eine unglaublich gutes Frühstück und zwei leckere Speiselokale. Die Lage ist unschlagbar.

The welcoming and friendliness of all the staff - amazing. Beautifully presented hotel, clean, comfortable, quiet. Lovely food. Excellent all round. Location is very convenient for beaches, coast path, canal, shopping, golf, tennis, swimming in sea pool.
