The location is excellent. It is directly across from Davis Bay Pier and conveniently situated between downtown Sechelt and Roberts Creek. It is also within close proximity to well-regarded restaurants such as Joe’s and the Wobbly Canoe. Sam was exceptionally helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Despite the challenges caused by ferry cancellations, the quality of the accommodation and the overall Sunshine Coast experience more than made up for it. I would highly recommend this property

Ocean view

As far as motels go, this is a better than average one. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were ok. My only issue was with noise transfer. I had my dog with me and because you could hear everyone going in and out their rooms, slamming doors and going up and down the stairs, my dog barked a lot! I’m sure that was annoying for everyone! This is something to note if you have your dog, or are sensitive to noise. Otherwise, staff were very friendly and no other complaints.

Staff were amazing! Super friendly and helpful. Great location with easy access to the beach and a few good restaurants. Lots of parking with a level 2 EV charger for use. Amenities including coffee machine in lobby and movie room option (we didn’t get to use) were nice touches.

the rooms are clean, the layout is well thought out the balcony on the ground floor rooms are open so you can walk to the ocean, parking is plentiful there is a restaurant on site which does good food

Beautiful view and comfy beds

We stayed here more than twice already and the quality hasn’t declined. However, I received no response to my question when I sent one through Expedia. Not sure if this is Expedia or the hotel not reading messages. Otherwise, we had a very comfortable stay with an awesome view! Special thanks to Sam, the front desk staff who helped us check in/out.

Excellent hotel with a great ocean view, its in the right spot so we could get to places to both directions, front deck Sam was very helpful right from the start and took care of all our needs all way, One thing which nobody knows is this place has a small movie theatre which you guys can choose from some movies for free. would recommend this place for sure.

The scenic views were exceptional, the accommodation experience was seamless, and no issues were encountered. Room service was satisfactory. While we suggest a slight improvement in bathroom cleanliness, all other aspects of our stay were commendable.

We enjoyed staying at the Oceanside Hotel. Its got a beautiful view, excellent location, neat and clean, super friendly staff. Wpuld recommend them any fay and will definitely come back for anothet stay!
