It was mostly great. Only issue was elevators. There were 2. One broke. Every guest who was trying to check out or come down to breakfast was competing with the hotel cleaning staff and their big carts.

Very crowded and only 2 elevators. Breakfast was NOT good. Room was OK... Bed was not.

One of the elevators broke down Saturday and wasn't fixed until Tuesday, the day we left. The hotel was full with many staying for the concert at Nationals Stadium so it was a long wait to get upstairs although security did try to help those in wheelchairs get on quicker. Most understood except one hotel guest who was unwilling to cooperate. Otherwise, the staff was helpful, the rooms clean and well appointed, and breakfast had a nice selection. Ms. V was wonderful, helpful and helped make the stay extra special. Despite the elevator issue, I would choose this location again.

Great location! Walkable to plenty of restaurants. The breakfast was pretty good and staff was friendly. It was very hot in DC so it would’ve been great if there was a pool.

Vallet was full upon arrival and had to find parking on my own.

Overall, I liked the hotel and the staff was great. I only gave it 4 stars because the hotel was full and 1 of the two elevators broke, so it took considerable time to get to or from your room to anywhere.

Knowing that there was a major event happening, there was only one elevator working for the whole hotel and never saw it being worked on. Hotter than usual temps made it miserable in the main loft and elevator. The water machine should have been flavored but only had the choice of plain water. No other water on the other floors. So you had to go all the way down, waiting for that one elevator to come by. The room was smaller then imagined and the ac struggled to maintain the temperature in the room. Valet service should have been staffed with more workers to accommodate the rush of guest for the event. Over all very dissatisfied with the stay for the price. Recommend not to stay there. But I will give the staff a five for being calm and kind.

Super busy weekend for the hotel and they only had one elevator in service.

Mixed bag, unsure if would stay again. Great location if you are looking to be by stadium, nightlife, restaurants, etc. but is very noisy. Knew was going to be. Friendly front desk staff. Some issues: either two elevators aren’t enough for this size hotel or very slow. waited a very long time every time used them. Good free breakfast. Parked elsewhere to save a ton…$70/night ridiculous. i found $20. In room, there is no dresser. just closet with hangers. very odd. Toilet seat doesn’t stay up…not good for men. shower floor was dirty and also stays very slippery. no rubber mat to put down. good fridge/freezer. clean room. decent bed.

Limited television options. Could not use firestick to watch apps. TV in gym had no controls and no volume. TV on treadmill no sound. Breakfast usual blah blah. Management failed to contact us as promised, so poor service there. I got a cup of coffee from the lobby. It was cold, but not a problem until I tries to warm it in the microwave. Oops, no microwave in room. This has been a pretty standard feature min motel rooms for at least 30 years. for the raste they charge, Hampton should do better.

Very good location anything you want is within walking distance. I'd say it could use a bit better cleaning in bathrooms and please hire good maintenance teams its crucial. A few issues with maintence quality. Overall good hotel I would stay again.

Love the proximity to the Nationals Ballpark and surrounding restaurant/bar area.

A couple small issues with the room: The LED display on the alarm clock did not show well. The time could not be read. The sliding door on the shower stall would not stay closed. Each time it was closed, it would roll back to a position about half way open. I had to stuff a wet wash cloth on the track to keep the door closed and to keep shower water from going on the floor outside the shower.

Very convenient to Nationals Park and transportation. Very clean and well kept.

Perfect location close to Nationals Stadium. Lots of restaurants in the area.
