Bedrooms look tired. Lack of ventilation in bedroom coridors led to some very unpleasant odours. Breakfast was superb

Room was very dated & poor value for money. The steps down to the ensuite were positively dangrerous! Safety restraint on window broken as was the toilet seat. As for the parking arrangements - shambolic.

Not much water pressure from the taps or shower and the bedroom window was very dirty on the outside but overall the service and facilities were very good. Gardens a pleasure to sit in, really cared for.

The property is very convenient and the area is very nice with adorable view . However I think that the property still needs some improvement and renovation concerning the rooms

Sorry but a bit disappointed as we were hoping for a bit more luxury.☹️ the hotel may be 4star but our room (saver double) was 2star....not even as nice as a premier inn. No charging points, Window directly on to public pavement...grey carpet, worn grey painted furniture, grey curtains...all very grey. Parking was difficult.

Beautiful old hotel but in need for renovation. Positives: 1) Location is nice in Ventnor. 2) Small nice swimming pool outdoor. 3) Staff at the breakfast. 4) Free parking and free EV charging point. Negative: 1) Need renovation

We had a fabulous 3 night mid-week stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were attentive and really friendly and the food in the restaurant was exquisite. We had intended to find other places to eat during our stay but the food was so good here there was absolutely no point. I would highly recommend this hotel.
