Les petits cottage sont plein de charmes. La décoration vous ramène dans une autre époque. De plus vous avez tout loisir de déambuler dans les jardins extraordinaires de Houmas house qui sont éclairés la nuit et de ce fait magique. Vous pouvez également faire appel à une voiturette qui vous conduira volontiers au cottage ou au restaurant. Par contre attention !! Si vous avez un cottage au bord de la route par exemple 1 ou 2. Vous serez très gêné par la circulation

Le lieu est superbe avec les jardins les quelques animaux, les cottages grands et confortables. Côté négatif: dès qu'on sort, autour, on voit les usines et on entend la route c'est un peu surprenant! L'isolation des murs est assez faible, on avait des gens alcoolisés à côté, il a fallu allez leur dire de faire moins de bruit car on entendait tout. Dernier point, je pensais qu'on pourrait visiter la maison, mais c'est 35$ de plus par personne et 25$ pour le musée amérindien. Quand on paye déjà 400$ pour la chambre, ça pourrait être inclu.

Beautiful property. Excellent in every way.

Everything was beautiful and peaceful. The bed was comfortable and the shower and soaking tub were so nice. The grounds were gorgeous. Breakfast buffet at Dixie cafe was delicious and the view out the huge windows enjoyable. The museum was great. Dinner at the Carriage House was also special. People were friendly and helpful. No crowds, quiet and serene.

What a treat! This is a place you come back to and just enjoy the grounds. Rooms are spacious and clean with beautiful landscaping surrounding and a quick walk to the on-site restaurants, gardens, and museums. Free breakfast and no pet fees were a huge plus! Would recommend trying to stay in a room that is not on River Rd if street noise bothers you. The road is quite busy and you can hear vehicles driving by at all hours.

Our second visit to Houmas house was fabulous. We spent the night and had a fabulous dinner at the Carriage House. The food is excellent. The grounds were decorated beautifully for Christmas. It is a great place to spend time with friends. Love it!

We celebrated our anniversary at this lovely property. It was a very enjoyable experience. The grounds are beautiful. Our experience in Latil’s Landing restaurant was divine .

Parfait Pas très éloigné de l Aéroport d'où nous arrivions Cet endroit était idéal pour notre première étape avant de découvrir la Louisiane. Cette plantation possède un superbe et très agréable jardin avec une magnifique demeure Un petit bémol les camions passant pas très loin de notre chambre qui n'était pas très éloignée de la route.

The grounds are stunning. The staff is very very friendly. The food was amazing. The only reason I gave it four stars was because there was zero water pressure in our room. The walls were thin and we could hear quite a bit from our neighbors. Other than that, we couldn’t have been happier.

Exceptional in every way. I would recommend any time and come back whenever I am in the area.

Great experience

The property in the gardens were breathtaking. Rooms were very nicely appointed and clean. The breakfast was awesome, and the service and staff was very accommodating. One area for improvement is the Wi-Fi. It was absolutely terrible.

The Inn is a great place and we thought it looked lovely on the website -- but it exceeded all our expectations when we actually stayed: beautiful decor, fantastic setting, spotlessly clean and the food on site is great too. To say nothing of the house tour, bar, friendly and helpful people working there... a really fantastic place to stay
