Penilaian & Ulasan Keseluruhan Hotel Santa Ana Liberia Airport

This was my second time staying at Hotel Santa Ana, while waiting for my departure flight to Canada out of the Guanacaste airport, the next morning. There’s not 1 negative thing I can say about this place. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and everything is in good working order. The wall mounted TV is definitely a nice touch. I feel safe here. There is a lot of secure parking available, if you have a vehicle. It’s only a 6 minute drive to the airport. I love their available shuttle service to the airport for $12, it’s very convenient. There is several places to eat I found all within a 5-10 minute walk of the hotel, as well as a convenience store (Sun Market Convenience store) that is a 10 minute walk away. I like the affordability. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. I will definitely be back! 🙂

Lots of big red ants going to and from the bathroom/ entering & leaving via gap at room wall floor, Bed was also not very comfortable /very basic and I woke up with a stiff back. A very basic hotel but all else was clean except that I had to keep killing big red ants and worried they’d get to me bed but I don’t think they did.

Close to airport. Despite that it was quiet. Good price. They can provide transport to airport on request. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There is eating close by, but quite limited. Good inexpensive choice if you have an early morning flight.

The beds were uncomfortable Rooms and showers were old.

The hotel has wooden doors that don't dampen the sounds of other guests and road noise. Rude people talking loudly outside or in their rooms after 11 PM and still at 1 and 2 AM. Lots of road noise as well.

It was conveniently close to the airport but I would not stay here again. It was SO noisy- the walls and windows were thin and you could hear other guests as well as traffic and plane noise like it was in your room. There were only pillow shams on the very old soiled pillows and a thin sheet over the soiled mattress. They also charge for everything including ice.

There were no other places to stay as there were local festivities happening so I took this place fully knowing what I was getting into after reading other reviews. I was in room 24 which is next to highway and the window could not be fully closed so road noise was high. I put earplugs on but still it was loud. I had the AC on which was actually working quietly and efficiently. There was also hot water unlike what some other reviews said, but since weather was hot, there was no need to use it. instead of geckos which I have seen in other places, there were some frogs on the shower walls, which I did not mind since they were kind of cute.

Dirty. Ants, frogs and bugs. Uncomfortable beds. No smart tv. Rooms right by highway are very noisy. We left after 30 minutes

The staff was very accommodating and personable.I wanted a budget place closer to airport than Liberia and this place fit my needs. Small rooms. Quiet and clean.

They advertise a shuttle to the airport... less than a five minutre ride but charged $15USD .... a ripoff. Had to ask for towels... got two but no handtowels

Bathroom shower had a frog and lizard in it.

Conveniently located close to the airport. Close to the main road. Quiet at night. Comfortable, basic room.

Room was very clean. The hotel is very close to airport and was a bed and bathroom type setup with air conditioner and Television which is perfect if your looking for a nights rest without all the extras. I needed a place for one night to catch a flight the next day so the price was very good plus they had a bus to take me to the airport.

Horrible de mi parte primera y última vez

The breakfast was terrible. While it is a little closer to the airport than some, the location is terrible. The nearest food is far away. Other hotels a little further from the airport are much nicer and less expensive. This Hotel is a terrible choice.

Check out is too early and they started to clean my room 1 hour before check out

Cuarto horrible Almohadas viejas Baño sin shampoo ni jabón

We stayed at this hotel on the last night of our 12 days trip as it was close to the airport and not a hostel. The room is very small and immediately noticed the door didn’t close all the way so there was a big gap on the floor which allowed bugs bigger than an ant to crawl in. The memory on my phone is full from our trip so I did not take pictures. When I went to take a shower, I noted the hot water side handle kept spinning and there was only cold water (pretty normal for Costa Rica we noticed but the handle thing shouldn’t have happened. Then I looked up at the shower head and saw all the grime caked on to the shower head. When I turned on the way it shot out of a few holes and dripped out the rest of the way. The bathroom smelled like mold. The bed felt like a box spring and not a mattress. There was a lightbulb with no covered fixture above the bed that had a long hair on it. There is a tv but only a few local channels. The remote the women gave me was a different brand than the tv (LG) and I had already went back to ask about WiFi and didn’t want to go back. We were able to pay ($12 for 2 of us) for their hotel shuttle to take us to the airport (reading the hotels.com description I was under the impression that hotel shuttle was included). The only reason I’m giving a 2 and not a 1 star is because there was an air conditioner. I’m really fair with my reviews and I felt this hotel was extremely overpriced for what you get. We paid $67 with tax for the night.

1.Hotel rooms are very Dirty, cockroaches in the room, you can see insects moving around. 2.Beds were extremely uncomfortable, could get sleep. It’s next to airport road, so very noisy during night time. 3.Rooms are small and Lacks basic amenities, not even a single drawer. Bathrooms were dirty and NOT well maintained 4. Staff was fully drunk and could barely talk. It’s TOTAL waste of your money and not worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
