Room, restaurant, diving, snorkeling- everything was perfect

We stayed at Taveuni dive as a part of our honeymoon. We had a great time, it's a small resort with amazing staff and everyone knows each other's names. It feels homely and welcoming. Amazing food, you will never go hungry. They really work hard so make your stay unique and enjoyable. Our best recommendations!

The Bures are private and large, beds very comfortable. The setting and grounds are beautiful, their Staff works EXTREMEMLY HARD EVERYDAY. Everyone smiled all the time and service was perfect everyday ! Food is Chef Quality Liza, the Chef was excellent with her selections everyday. The Bar was perfect and service as well. The diving is the best I have seen in the world for soft coral, the White wall was extremely impressive. All the dives sites are healthy, Lui our divemaster was excellent. Hal who runs the Dive Operation was on point everyday. Can't say enough about the whole staff. My only suggestion is for the Owners to pay their Staff more, they proved to us they definately deserve it !! I've been diving the whole World for 32 years as a Dive Master, Tavenui Dive Resort ranks up there as one of the very best !!

If you’re coming for a dive trip to Fiji then this is the place to be! The staff goes above and beyond. The service was excellent. The food was sooooo good, I definitely gained some lbs over the course of 5 days. The diving was on another level. The resort is close to rainbow reef, approx 15min boat ride. You avoid enduring lengthy boat rides when staying on the other side of the island. The dive staff was the best we’ve ever been with. Each dive was practically private. It was just my husband, myself and our guide. That alone made it worth all the $ we spent. We’ve dived in other places where it’s groups of 8-10 people which really takes away from the experience. Everyone was so sweet and lovely. We’re definitely coming back!

Fantastic stay, wonderful cottages (burres), excellent food, friendly/helpful/accommodating owners/staff, and high quality rental dive gear. We're hoping to return with friends in June. A couple things to be aware of. TDR specializes in SCUBA diving. Your burre looks out onto the best diving in Fiji, the Rainbow Reef. There isn't a beach to hang out on if you're not a diver (or at minimum a snorkeler). Also, the resort is totally off grid - solar hot water & electricity. As might be expected, no air conditioning. Instead, 2 powerful ceiling fans in your burre. We're from Colorado and were fine the 3d week of August 2024.

This is a great quality dive resort in an uncrowded region of Fiji in the Northern Division. Food was excellent, staff were fantastic and the diving was Stunningly beautiful! Thanks Carl & all your team for looking after us at Taveuni dive resort, we'll be back!!

Für Taucher und Nichttaucher außergewöhnlich gut. Das Dive-Resort hat eine wunderbare ruhige Lage! Mitten im Garten der Garteninsel Taveuni. Noch dazu an der Somisomo Strait. Nicht weit das Rainbow Reef und Whitewall! Taveuni ist ein Juwel und das Resort auch!

If you are trying to decide where to go - just pick this property The staff and people are amazing and that makes your stay. The diving and snorkeling is incredible. It’s worth the trip to the island The rooms are good, with fans that keep you cool enough as it’s cooler overnight in Tavenui, The owners are very good and run a great business, they really care about the guests and it’s boutique with great service. The diving is very well organised and my 14 yr old son did a discovery dive and loved it. We snorkelled most days and saw amazing things. Just book it!! And make sure you stay for 5 days or more

Great staff, lovely dive sites, delicious food, just a great place! Be mindful that a can of coke is 5 dollars and mixed fruit drink are doubly that- it adds up! I would go back!

Taveuni Dive Resort offers beautiful roomy bures (bunglows) surrounded by gorgeous grounds and ocean views. The meal service is bountiful and delicious and the onsite diving service offers several daily dive plus snorkel excursions out to Rainbow Reef. They are also happy to assist in setting up tours around the Island including Bouma National Park and waterfalls. Each and every staff member from dining to diving provides exceptional service.

We went for the world class scuba diving. We were not disappointed. The reefs are pristine and the life is abundant. The resort is ran by an American couple. It is In perfect condition and is ran like clockwork, very organized. From the time we got off the plane, all we had to do was relax!

This place is the bomb. Rooms beautiful- diving stunning. Dive guides the most relaxed skilled crew - the food great. The walks nearby peaceful - the ocean clean. I love this place.

Had an amazing time at Taveuni Dive Resort. Such a peaceful place. The staff were all so friendly, made you feel like part of the family. Hal and the dive team are next level. Cannot recommend this resort and dive experience enough, just amazing.

Absolutely everything one could want in a luxury dive resort. Exceptional service, wonderful cuisine, friendly staff, outstanding dive conditions, short walk or ride to the marina, and best of all the crew handles all your gear so you don’t have to worry about anything and can focus on enjoying your stay. The Rainbow Reef is a world class destination and among the best for blooming soft coral and tropical fish variety. Highly, highly recommended.

This resort is targeted at divers and offers a calm, peaceful and lush base for a great diving trip. Staff in general were very friendly and helpful. The manager went out of his way to check in occasionally to see if all was ok and if we needed anything.

Staff is not only friendly but happy as well. Very nice rooms. Warm water for showering is the only problem.
