Staff lovely room spotless had a lovely 2 night stay beds was so comfy room was huge stayed in a room to sleep 6 even tho there was only 2 of us i like my space 😀 didn't eat this time round but was lovely last time

The staff were awsome especially Krisz on reception and Aidan who works nights on reception. Only issues was that the room 107 was very tired floor was damaged bath plug didnt work flush on toilet was faulty and there was a big crack in the sink also nowhere to hand towels in bathroom on the upside the beds were extremely comfortable and room was clean the cleaner was very helpful thankyou

Room was disappointing. It needed updating.

Der lå gamle sure underbukser oppe på et skab, man kunne ikke få varmen op på over 19°. Og så manglede der en håndbruser på badeværelset, man kunne kun tage bad i enestue hovedebruser eller badekar. Spaen var møgbeskidt da man tændte for den

Good stay! Xmas shopping with girls. Room was great with a double and two single beds.

Really good stay. Check in was easy. I did forget my driving licence so had to email a copy of my passport to reception. I was expecting to potentially leave the bags at reception however as it was ready we got the room a little earlier. The room was a good size and clean. We will definitely go back.

The hotel staff are fantastic and it’s a great location. The reason for my low score is that we hardly had any sleep on both nights we stayed. We were in room 113 on the first floor which is right on a main road and it has a constant flow of traffic and you can hear everything as if you were right outside on the pavement. We did tolerate this as It is an old building and it is what it is but it really was tough going. After the first night I asked for earplugs but they didn’t have any and the receptionist said there were no other rooms to move us too (I didn’t ask for a room swap but I was glad that this was considered). On checking out after the second night we were absolutely shattered. When asked if we enjoyed our stay I again pointed out politely the noise and because of this we wouldn’t come back or be able to recommend the hotel. The receptionist just accepted this and said ‘okay’. Her response told me that this must be a regular complaint.

Loved the hotel and loved the 8 sleeper room we had a great stay

The room was great, clean and sociable, staff are alway so helpful, been here a few times now and it never disappoints

Had a lovely weekend stay at the shankly, staff were amazing especially the breakfast staff, couldn’t do enough for you, comfortable rooms, definitely will book here again..

Clean room, Christina who served breakfast was ace, so friendly and lovely.

Great reception area and close to town. Room was spacious and perfect for 4 friends to have an overnight. Breakfast was good as an optional extra. Would stay again
