Terrible view from room, bit pokey Needs an Uplift

This place could be amazing if they paid attention the smaller touches. But they are not. Not the fault of the employees. It's a management problem. Gorgeous setting but they need to do more if they want the fancy status they think they already have.

Comfortable stay hotel is showing its age in parts. Good solid breakfast and service excellent. Avoid Room 21, right next to some sort of pump outside the window. Below average night sleep!

Room was so hot and couldn’t open the window as the noise from the industrial ventilation was right outside.

When we originally got there, we were given a ground floor room that was dark and dingy and freezing. There were also someone’s dirty socks left in the shelf. There was also a wedding going on and the room we were given was right next to it so was very loud. I spoke to the reception and they were nice enough and moved us to the top floor this room was also small and the beds didn’t even feel like full size double. My husband got a shower and the shower fell off the wall while he was in it. There were also dirty marks on the toilet. Although the music was quieter from here, you could still hear it way past midnight.

Okay the room was on the smaller side. But having said that it was nice and I’d stay there again. The food and drink in the bar was good, and served like we were in BA First Class. A serious touch of elegance.

Dry nice hotel and great restaurant

Cleanliness and staff. Room was a bit small but we booked last minute so didn’t have a choice, very cheap for the area!
