What a wonderful hotel! Lovely friendly staff who were very helpful. Fabulous views what a stunning setting and lovely rooms ours had a little terrace that look out over some lovely gardens. The room also had thick curtains which kept out the heatwave - we kept cool with the fan on. Really great location for Cardiff, up from the hustle and bustle but easy to get to - we got a taxi in and out due to the heat!! Very happy and would definitely stay there again - thank you for such a lovely stay ☺️

Beautiful and very friendly

Good stay, convinient parking, room a bit warm due to to unsual warm temps, but location offers a nice view.

Booked at short notice, the staff were very accommodating and the hotel easy to be in with a family. The rooms were lovely. The view from the property is stunning, we will definitely return. The only downside was the lack of gluten free options available from the bar menu. That is something that perhaps we could have mitigated had we not booked at short notice. The breakfast had all gluten free options available and was great. Strongly recommend a stay here.

The views from the hotel are really lovely and the hotel has a really relaxing feel to it. There are plenty of tables outside where you can sit and enjoy the magnificent view on sunny days. We absolutely loved our two night stay here and have booked to go back there again in July for a three night stay.

Beautiful setting and service. Rooms

The hotel is in an amazing location with beautiful views , the staff are friendly, very helpful and efficient. We stayed in a Junior Suite and it was a very large and beautiful room and quiet- especially for a hotel. There are two things that let the hotel down , no food after a certain time in the evening seems strange to me , most places serve until 10pm at least and there is a mention of 24 hour room service but there was no menu in our room (That we could find anyway) and when we asked about food we were told the only option was to have some crisps at the bar. Breakfast is fantastic if you like a cooked breakfast , lots of choice here but if you don't then the options are limited and not replenished throughout the morning , I think this should be more plentiful with more options for the price you pay for a room.

It’s such a special place for us to stay. The hotel holds such lovely memories of our wedding day. It’s been developed even more now, but tastefully, holding its true identity in style and decor, with the more modern twists where needed. Every staff member is friendly, the food is delicious, lounge areas comfy, outside areas maintained and modern, and the views over Cardiff and out to sea are wonderful. Our room in the older part of the hotel was quirky and so comfortable with lovely views, warm, spacious and the most comfortable bed possible. We can’t fault The New House Country Hotel. It’s worth every penny to stay there.
