Individuals were friendly and helpful.

Short staffed at check in. Took longer than it should of.

Will be staying there again.

Had multiple issues trying to access underground parking, north side entrance, and even my room with cards.

The stay at this Best Western was quite good for the most part. What put a bit of a sour taste in the mouth was a staff member who stared at us for 30+ minutes while we were trying to enjoy our time in the pool. I believe he was trying to make sure that we would not bring our water bottle in. He asked us to put our water bottle up on the water bottle fountain?! Why do you have a water bottle fountain in your pool area if you do not allow water in your pool area. This was baffling and the staff member staring at us with crossed arms made us very uncomfortable. Also, there was an unhoused person doing drugs inside a stairwell door as I was trying to leave and get to my car. Hotel itself is fine and clean and most of the staff is quite nice but these two things put a damper on the end of my stay.

We were only in Saskatoon for one night but this room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable. Beautiful shower. Breakfast was pretty good. One issue was that one elevator bank was being repaired and somehow the fire alarm was tripped which meant the other elevator was also out of service for some time, just as we were preparing to leave. The staff offered to help us bring our luggage down the stairs to the parkade but I asked instead for a call as soon as the elevator was back in service. They called promptly once it was and we were on our way. These things happen but the staff did everything they could to help us out.
