Despite a lack of dedicated parking, the Parking is plentiful with an NCP directly opposite. Room and public areas are immaculate. The staff were very welcoming and the cooked breakfast was excellent, less so the continental choice.

Great hotel in a nice area. Car park is a little tight and first come first serve but the ncp car park is literally opposite this hotel. Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had, we also had dinner in the restaurant which was amazing. My only complaint was the people above our studio room where thundering around which was noisy but I’m not 100% sure if that belonged to the hotel as we had to exit the hotel and go round the corner to get to our room (studio 45)

Interesting property with loads of character.

Lovely inn. Located in a convenient place near English Bridge. Breakfast was delicious. The bar and wine bar were very convenient. We stayed during a heatwave. The rooms were quite warm. There are many steps to get to the rooms.

Good breakfast and choice. Room very clean and comfortable. Staff lovely. Hotel a rabbit Warren of rooms and corridors. But that makes it very interesting. The bar and restaurant had a great buzzy vibe.

Excellent breakfast, some training required junior staff. Downstairs excellent service. Room very comfortable but the windows need urgent attention. Filthy between the wood frame and the glazed glass. Noise level from road very bad. We have stayed 3 other times and will stay again but always in winter months when window can remain closed. Council need to slow down traffic going past with road bumps and definitely needs speed cameras. Despite all that a besutiful hotel and clearly popular and food lunch and breakfast excellent. Beds incredibly comfie.
