Just How Easy Everything Was Definitely Staying There Again When Im In Town

Friendly and attentive staff. Wifi didn't work or was very slow, TV was wasn't good to working either. Would have been nice to have a plate and come cutlery in the room.

Beware - the place might look clean at first glance but it isn’t, there was a cockroach the size of a finger in the bathroom. Also, on its website and own welcome booklet, it says reception closes at 9pm but it actually closes at 8pm. I called ahead at 6pm to inform them I’ll be checking in at 8:30pm, but they said “oh we close at 8pm”. Bad service and poor quality. Would never stay again. The owner Jay was defensive and said “we close at 8pm on Sundays”, even after I showed them their own welcome book said 9pm. He was also nonchalant about the cockroach, saying there were none in other rooms. No thought of customer experience - I specifically booked this place due to their 9pm check in, especially as a solo female traveller. Instead I had to find my own way and the overall experience was horrible. Jay did not find any way to resolve this. Also, I got a random knock on the door at 11pm - some random guy asking for a lighter. Would avoid this place at all costs.

Everything was great

Clean, quiet and convenient. All the things we needed for a one-night stay during the drive from Cairns to Brisbane. The bed was firm, the sheets crisp cotton, the pillows plump. The bathroom was circa-1974, but why update quality?!? Ample hot water, good water pressure, generous amenities. The car, which was loaded with valuables for the move, was parked right outside the room so good for security.

Country Ayr Motel was a great overnight stay! Facilities were clean, tidy and comfortable. Use of the laundry was convenient and the on-site restaurant was great for dinner. Breakfast option is very reasonable and the service and hospitality provided by managers was excellent!

Very clean, quiet with friendly staff

Nice, clean, comfy bed and the Managers are super friendly. The pool wasn't open but looks as though they are fixing it up.
