A wee bit out of town, but loch across the road, great views from bar and restaurant. Tour bus 🚌 came in when we did, caters for the large groups. Room was a wee bit tired but ok. bed was small, bathroom small but had everything we needed. There was a terrible smell of what I imagine was paint thinners (or fuel) as you exited the lift, on our floor, which then carried on in our room. I think they should not have had anyone on that floor that day, until the smell could be sorted. An ok stay, but the smell makes me not able to do a better review, as got a screaming headache, I am sure it does not normally smell like that. Dinner was good, 3 course option

Not a great place to stay, not similar to pictures shown. It’s a very old property and smells awful. The room was very small and didn’t have much space for our luggage or to walk. We booked a family room for 3 people but it had an extra single bed fitted in a double room. The toilet was old and things were broken. The mirror was dirty and we tried cleaning it but couldn’t. Towels provided were old. The staff in restaurant was rude, we wanted to move to the window table but the lady said that they’re closing in 10 minutes and asked us to sit in the bar instead. We were asked to remove our car and park it somewhere else as they were expecting a coach but there was enough space for our car to be parked in that bay and still have the coach. The guy didn’t request, he just ordered to remove the car right after we parked and didn’t even thank you. Never going back to this property. Nothing was good about our stay, except the Loch view outside the hotel.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Also we had breakfast and it was good value.

Mediocre stay, not a bad hotel, a bit tired and lacking in some expected services, iike room servicing and replenishment.. ie had to ask for extra milk but was told, none were available!! On a positive note, the hotel had good parking, was in a good location and had stunning views over the Loch, just needs a bit of TLC and updating to be on a relative par with other Fort William hotels

Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. The hotel is comfortable and met our needs, only thing that might have added to it would have been a fridge especially in the warm weather, but couldn't fault anything. The view from the hotel is stunning. Can't praise the staff or the service we received enough. Thank you so much.

Het hotel is gedateerd. Heeft geen verluchting in de kamer waardoor het gauw muf ruikt.

A functional hotel with a lovely view. Liz at reception was very helpful and welcoming. The room was adequate but I could hear someone snoring in the next room. Kerb appeal could be improved.

The staff is exceptional! So very friendly and helpful. The room was nice. There are wonderful views from the hotel and it is in a great location.

Convenient location with a great view.

Pros: Beautiful view of Loch across from the hotel. Area was quiet and felt safe. Bathrooms were well lit. Blackout curtains were sufficient. Breakfast buffet was well done - we have several food allergies in our family and they very cheerfully helped us determine which foods might be best for us. Cons: Bathrooms could use an update or at least a better cleaning. Towels were a bit dingy and even stained. We got in late evening and left early morning, so we did not spend much time in the hotel. It met our family’s needs and we would recommend to anyone on a budget looking to stay in the Ft. William area.

Old, tired hotel that needs major maintenance. Mold in the bathtub, outer skirt of bathtub was falling off. Dinner was a major disappointment. Flavorless steak, frozen carrots, potatos needed salt (and I never add salt) Order wine by the color from the bar staff

Nice visit

This was a last minute booking so didn’t really have an expectation, however from arriving to leaving it was a lovey experience, the room was a little dated but clean with lovely view over the loch . Bed very comfortable and en/suite clean . We had already eaten during the day so didn’t use the restaurant in the evening instead choosing a pizza as a bar meal which was nicely presented and tasty . The bonus for the evening was a live singer who sang a selection of different hits we all know Overall a very pleasant stay

Room was spacious but no PowerPoints near the bed. The tv was very small. The room was quiet and the beds were comfortable. Floor was very noisy to walk on. Minimal consumables in the room. Big advantage was a lift. Breakfast was good and very reasonably priced.

Extérieur pas fantastique mais il y a un parking et c'est très heureusement pour une seule nuit! Regard sur le menu du dîner: peu engageant, nous irons dîner dehors. Arrivée dans la chambre, odeur désagréable et insistante, pas de possibilité de changer. Lit complètement déglingué, ressorts affaissés qu'on sent lorsqu'on s'assied ou s'allonge. Plancher souple qui craque (ouf on est au dernier étage).Tout cela fait que, ce que je fais jamais, je regarde le descriptif sur la fiche de l'appli sur Hôtels.com...et vois que j'ai payé 20£ de trop. Je descends à l'accueil "mais non, c'est le bon prix". Je montre l'appli " normal le PDJ est en plus", je fais voir qu'il est écrit que le PDJ est inclus. "Montrez moi le mail". Heureusement je l'ai conservé. Doute profond sur une possible arnaque de ma part. Appel de qqun d'autre. Au début ne trouve rien, après plusieurs minutes d'attente "ah oui, je n'ai pas pris le bon tarif) !!! J'ai passé 200 nuits avec hôtels.com et je n'ai jamais vu cela. Au PDJ mes voisins n'ont pas été plus gâtés...Une horreur....mais la réservation était faite et les autres hôtels que j'ai appelé étaient complets alors... Chance pour eux je n'arrive pas à télécharger moquette, serrure de la chambre ou entourage du lavabo. Le Mac Duff n'a pas d'excellentes notes..mais dès l'entrée...c'est nettement mieux
