The room was rough. Broken tiles to the point of being a tripping hazard. The fridge didnt work and smelled. Drywall dust in bathroom

The hotel has one working elevator with no signage on the broken down one. I booked two rooms, one being a King which the occupants were charged $30 for asking if their room was ready prior to the regular check-in time. The desk agent informed them it was an early check in charge, even though the room was ready and available with no added cost to the hotel to allow them in 2 1/2 hours earlier. The breakfast was portly run with wait times for hot food upwards of 5 minutes. The coffee was awful from both the drip machine and the latte machine. There was no fruit either and the tables were dirty even though empty. The Queen suite came with a sofa bed that had one old thin blanket as the only cover and one of the Queen beds had clearly not had the sheets changed as there was "dirt" inside the sheets at the foot of the bed. The Hot Tub was extremely hot and not able to be sat in for more than 2 mins at best. I will stay at the Canalta down the road knowing the quality meets basic expectations. Overall very poor

The room we checked into hadn’t been cleaned. The staff was rude. The pool area was dirty. The hot tub was cold - when we informed the staff, one staff member came, felt the hot tub and said “it’s warm enough”. The breakfast only went until 9 and was poor selection. The room we were in was incredibly drafty near the window. The stove top didn’t work. I am not a picky hotel person but I would never stay here again

The room was spacious with a kitchenette. Everything was clean. The staff was helpful. Breakfast was tasty and fresh.

The housekeeping at this hotel wasn’t great. It was clear that my room had been hastily turned over. Old Keurig pod left in the coffee machine, no coffee cups, water rings on the bedside tables. The bed was comfortable. My coworker was given a room that looked completely ransacked. The mattress was pulled off the bed, sheets everywhere, a complete disaster. They were able to give him a different room, but a very negative impression was left. The fitness centre at this hotel is an embarrassment to the Best Western brand. I travel for work and this is by far the worst gym I have seen in any hotel. Filthy equipment, broken equipment, filthy floors, garbage on the floor, and disgustingly marked up mirrors. No towels available. Right next to the hot tub and pool area, without air conditioning, so it was stifling. Living on the road, you have to make do, but the entire time I was doing my workout, I was writing this review in my head. Just gross.
