Qualité du repas absolument superbe. Vue sur la Thames du restaurant très jolie. Chambre propre. Personnel sympa. Petit Dej. très bien, mais un peu tôt. Parking gratuit.

Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent food, breakfast and dinner. Room was clean and presentable, although the rest of the hotel could do with updating. Plenty of parking.

Car parking is free, make sure you book your car in at reception.

Frustrations abound with this 5 day stay. The location next to the Thames is superb a beautiful spot and is very convenient for local attractions. The restaurant has an excellent menu and serves meals of a high standard. The staff vary a lot from very helpful and pleasant (if overworked) to a bit disinterested and are definitely understaffed. (Glass clearing from outside tables taking 3 hours, service at the bar erratic.) The building needs a major uplift. Outside probably not been painted in last 10 years, the owners do not make the most of the beautiful location. Inside some work has been done but a little half hearted. Our suite had a modern bathroom and the bedroom decor was recent but the bedroom furniture looks to be from a 1940's house clearance. Corridors/staircases all need a major uplift. The room cleanliness and daily service was mediocre. Windows dirty (a large window cobweb was there on arrival and upon departure) We had to ask for wc rolls, coffee cups not cleaned or replaced on one occasion, all very sloppy. Finally breakfast was generally very good although near the end (0900) we felt the food had been stood and was not freshly cooked

Hotel was OK but general decor was tired and overdue a refurbishment. TV was still reliant on a portable aerial that had to be adjusted in position whenever you changed channel. Window was propped open with an upturned base of a toilet brush. Food was good but slightly overpriced. Location is excellent, if refurbed would be a lovely place to stay.

Nice location on the river, where people swimming in it as it was around 30deg. Had room 22,was like walking into a furnace at 3:30 in the afternoon.No aircon,a fan was in the room but did nothing to cool it. Bar staff were ok but sometimes it seemed an effort to serve. The place in general that l saw needs some money spent on it for the price you pay

Perfect location, comfortable room and good breakfast.

Just doe a night it was ok. There are lots of little things that just need a little attention to smarten up the hotel and make the experience a better for guests. Staff are helpful but seem a little complacent that’s how things are. Eg. Hotel rubbish outside in the walkway between the two car parks where staff also have a ‘smoking table’ with lots of ash, rubbish on the flat roof outside our window, mould on our window frame, sheet was too small for our bed frame and didn’t tuck in, fire door kept open, breakfast menu states dairy free options available but when we asked there were none. Healthy options for breakfast would be great too as well as the greasy spoon offering. Smarten up where boats dock permanently- perhaps put rule in place with boat owners around that. The above doesn’t need investment just attention to detail. This place does have so much potential though with its gorgeous riverside setting. Look at the waterfront cafe in Benson (stroll along the river) has a great a menu, see by the river - the hotel could offer something similar and really make the most of its location.

I was only there 1 night so dont know about the area. But hotel was in a lovely position next to the river and staff were 100%

It depends what you want from a hotel. It’s located right by the Thames path, so ideal for beautiful walks. Our room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is extremely dilapidated. The staff were good but what they provided in terms of breakfast and a clean environment was not good. This is not their fault. The owner is at fault. He should either sell up or stick some money in. The hotel has so much potential it’s very sad. Having said all of that for what we paid it wasn’t bad value for money.

Our room and bathroom were clean and modern but the entrance and staircase were very scruffy and the outside of the hotel needs a lot of attention. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good. Parking was OK. The location is very good with grass down to the river and seats. down to the river.

Good parking. Lovely location. Friendly staff. Breakfast could do with black pudding/fried bread addition in my opinion. Loose bathroom fitting and sink plug not releasing easily but overall a lovely stay in a good location. (Room 83)

Mycket trevligt lantligt läge nära Oxford. Nära till Park & Ride till Oxford. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Mycket god mat, såväl frukost som kvällsmat i restaurangen. Fri parkering.

Room - cosy but there’s cosy and then there’s cosy. View from room great. Breakfast great and cooked to order. Parking plenty. Staff very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here before and there is no doubt it is being brought back to its former glory but as with all things it takes time and money to do complete referb. So still looking tired in places but in the up and we will stay here again.

The location of this hotel is very picturesque and , for us was perfectly located. The staff were very friendly and helpful though they were very understaffed for both our evening meal and breakfast. I can imagine that the hotel in it’s peak would have been an amazing venue but sadly now it is suffering from a lack of upkeep and showing real signs of tiredness in both the rooms and generally around the Hotel.

Stayed for work is a nice friendly hotel well situated on the riverbank
