Great hotel

It was good, but cleanliness was not to Taj standards

Stay was good and comfortable. But needs a definite upgrade especially for bathroom fittings / flush button. Minibar needs facelift and so does TV channels.

Other than staff and hospitality, i liked hotel. Staff service and room service was just not good which will make me never stay at this hotel in future.

The hotel is a nice 5-star property in Gauhati, one of the few such hotels. Most aspects were good including the nice buffet breakfast. However, the housekeeping staff need better training. After cleaning my room one day, they left only two bath towels (for our two occupants) but no hand towel. When we asked for them, they sent only one hand towel, not two. Also, it seems smoking is allowed in the room and/or in the property. There was some smell that was annoying.

Excellent service and restaurant. Room very tired

The restaurant food was regular quality and quantity but exorbitantly priced.

I was very clear from the beginning that I would prefer a quiet place. However after 4 days of staying in the hotel I started hearing loud noises of repairing going on below my hotel room. For 4 continuous days the loud drillings and hammering noise went nonstop every day. I called the hotel front desk and complained and also asked them to update me as to how long this repairing work would be going on. Every day they promised to update me about the repairing work beginning and ending times but they never did. Finally I decided to end my stay and check out of my hotel room.

Location and access to important places. Good customer service. No stand up shower, only bath tubs, which was difficult for seniors.

I liked the stay especially because the staff was good and helpful. Our son had motion sickness when we reached and he threw up in the lobby. The staff handled it very well, they let me check in to the room asap and completed the formalities later. They followed up to check on our son’s health later. The breakfast spread was reasonable as well. Overall a good short stay

The rooms were clean but had to constantly call for amenities that should have already been there in the room. The lack of restaurants was a disappointment, with only 2 restaurants serving sub par food. Moreover, they refused to give me a bill as I booked through Expedia. This is the first time that this has happened.

Linen was dirty and housekeeping had to change. Pillows were lumpy. Floor had hair and dirt

Amazing Stay, the hotel is extremely neat and clean

A/C unit did not work on two consecutive nights of our 2 night stay. Also the online checkin tool used by the staff did not work and had to repeat the same work multiple times.
