I didn't want to try the food because of the condition of the accomodation.

Very pleasant owners. Staff also. Unique in its appearance, rooms clean and warm very old building but well looked after, excellent for a central holiday in Aberdeenshire and Angus, very central to Perth, Dundee, and Aberdeen. A nice walk to the Tay, and your also on the edge of the Cairngorms.

We left without staying. We asked them to get the room cleaned as there was body hair in the bath and the room smelt of urine but this was refused. I was told I would be getting a refund but yet I’m STILL waiting for it. I would not waste my time. Very dated and needs a whole lot of TLC put into the place and it would be lovely because the outside is nice and the village is beautiful

The rooms were large and clean with towels and toiletries provided. The staff were so lovely and polite. The food was also really nice with a good selection. I'd recommend the lasagne. Free WiFi was also available at the property. I also love the little touches like the towels were shaped into two little elephants

Cheap and cheerful staff were very nice rooms very basic but warm and in dire need of some tlc 2 star at best.

Friendly, warm welcome and comfortable warm room.

Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Room basic but all you needed for a nights sleep. Parking was sound. Didn't get to try the bar but definitely will next time.

Had an amazing stay, comfortable bed, hot shower, great food and amazing staff in a beautiful quiet location. Shout out to Daisy and the other 2 young workers, they do you credit. Went over and beyond to make sure i was looked after.

Das Hotel verfügt über ein gutes Restaurant. Das Zimmer ist gut mit Mobiliar ausgestattet. Die Toilettenspülung hat nur nach mehreren Anläufen funktioniert. Der Boden des Badezimmers war nicht ganz sauber. Der Druck der Dusche wäre verbesserungsfähig.

The place is a bit worn around the edges, and I found the Wi-Fi to be very unreliable. It is quiet, though, and convenient for Perth and Dundee.

Super friendly staff, building was dated and not very clean.

Useful stop-off near A90. Absolutely brilliant friendly, helpful staff... the bar was really good. Hotel room could do with upgrading - this could be a brilliant 'destination hotel' if they spent money upgrading and modernising the rooms.

Very nice place to be . Affordable and easy to get into Dundee with the bus from their bus stop . Sam is a great waiter + receptionist . Their response to calls are swift . Very supportive staff. 10/10
