Our first interaction was with a wonderful member of the bar staff who checked us in. We then won £20 as part of local businesses promoting Lancaster. Location is good, food was good and the drinks were good.

The staff was excellent and extremely friendly.

Lancaster is an underrated destination. It was my second visit to that City. And probably not the last.

the room was okay in terms of its size albeit that the en suite was small. I got up to shower and shave at 6:30. No shower was possible because the water was cold, later hot. So the hotel needs to switch on the water heating earlier in the morning. Breakfast was okay.

Very friendly reception, good location, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast.

Staff is helpful, but very rude at the same time. Lot of attitude among most. Seems like they are not use to many tourist around. Heard the same complaint from other guests. Only parking to download your bags is the worst of the 4 they have, a is very tough to park.

We had a lovely big room with a very modern bathroom. The staff were excellent and the room was serviced every day.

Everything was made very easy, staff were friendly and very helpful - I couldn't carry bags easily but they took them up for me. A flask of fresh milk in the room was brilliant, real coffee-making (pod) facility, coffee bags (decaf and normal), good tea - all lovely. Clean, comfortable, great breakfast. Nothing at all could be faulted.

EXCELLENT HOTEL! CLEAN SUBERB FOOD AND HELPFULL FRIENDLY STAFF. SLEPT REALLY WELL. NICE COURT YARD OUTSIDE,TO ENJOY FOOD OR A DRINK. CLOSE TO ALL THE AMENITIES LANCASTER HAS TO OFFER ALSO NEAR ARE CANAL BOAT RIDES. LOOKING FORWARD TO A RETURN SOON THE HOTEL IS ALSO DOG FRIENDLY AND IS VERY CENTRAL TO SHOPS /BARS/ CAFES.THE STAFF MAKE THIS HOTEL WHAT IT IS, WELCOMING.

Nice stay lovey clean hotel, friendly staff and service. Food exceptional and a great undisturbed sleep we cannot wait to stay again soon.
