We had an enjoyable 3 nights stay at the Rui Garoe. We had room 409 with a private balcony overlooking the pool. The room was a good size, clean and smart. Huge comfortable bed. Staff were all very welcoming and helpful, well kept grounds and we did hire a car and found a free parking space outside easily. The location is ideal, very quiet on the edge of town. There was a shuttle bus to town but had fewer seats than those waiting to go. We walked into town which took 20 minutes and was good exercise back uphill! - it's a nice route with lovely views of the coast. We also used local buses to get around and walk along the coast. Breakfast and Dinner were of a very high standard. Huge choice and lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. There were freshly cooked choices with daily changes. We don't normally like inclusive options, but this was a pleasant surprise. A couple of small grumbles, only because this is trying hard and very nearly a top quality hotel. To be able to use the safe in your room (that's already there) the charge is €2 per day - that's a first. The only other gripe is the complete absence of free drinking water around the hotel. Most guests bought water at the nearby convenience store. We would recommend the hotel and come to stay again.

It is a very clean resort in a beautiful neighborhood. Our room was updated and comfortable. In terms of the location, it is possible to walk to the city center within 25 min but the way back is uphill. The shuttle runs only during the day. One way taxi service is around 6 euros. We had the half board meal option. There was one buffet restaurant for all of the meals. While there was a lot of selection, the food is bland and repetitive every day. It is the same every day with minor variations. If you are staying for many days, it is better not to take the dinner. The hotel caters to mature guests. There wasn’t any music at the pool or any activities. The evening entertainment was low key. Overall, it was a nice quiet hotel in peaceful surroundings away from the center.

Nous avons passé un super séjour en demi pension avec un personnel formidable et une restauration de qualité. Tout est fait pour nous satisfaire. Un grand merci! Nous reviendrons sûrement

All in all it was great. Not ideal was that the mattress was pretty worn out, something I def. would not expect from a 4* star hotel. Als were the bed sheets replaced even though we did not put the card on the bed where it says we will decide...only if we put the card on the bed the sheets will be replaced. Seems like green washing if not sticking to their sustainability rules... The buffet is good - lots of choices (great bread at breakfast) and there is always something else available (dinner), just some details: - Breakfast: Orange Juice/Drinks are at about room temperature, they could at least be cooled a little bit. Scrambled eggs are tasteless/horrible! Probably stretched and at least use a bit of salt!! - Dinner: Also partly rather tasteless, simply no spices being used. Probably target audience rather people 60+ that like it less salted etc...still it could have some more flavour! (also especially as we are in spain, a paella needs to taste line a paella). Again, overall really good, pretty warm and fresh. Recommend this hotel.

Mi marido y yo nos quedamos en el hotel para pasar un fin de semana largo a principios de mayo. El hotel esta en perfecta condiciones, todo muy limpio y las habitaciones muy modernas. El buffet espectacular en el desayuno y en la cena y habia muchisima variedad. Todo el staff del hotel son muy amables y simpáticos y nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Lo único que nos fallo fue el tiempo que hacia un pelin de frío pero aún asi pudimos relajar. La unica pena es que no haya playa cerca!

Las instalaciones estaban bien y el personal era amable. Además la comida también estaba buena. Una de las cosas que echamos de menos fue tener algun paseo por alrededores.

Wunderschönes sauberes Hotel, nicht ein Makel, Kratzer oder Ähnliches. Tolle moderne Zimmer und sehr angenehmes Farbkonzept.

Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt, Personal in jeglichem Bereich unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend!

Sehr ruhig gelegene Unterkunft mit leckerem Essen. In manchen Bereichen bemerkt man, dass das Hotel bereits ins Alter gekommen ist. Es sollten die Matratzen und Bademäntel dringend ausgetauscht werden.

Tellement satisfait de notre sejour!!! Sport, chambre,repas,personnel... Tout est fait pour passer un bon moment. La période a dû aussi aider car pas vraiment de monde. J'y retournerai sans problème

This is a very large, spacious, and beautiful setup that is away enough from the really busy part of the town, but still very reachable. Everything for our stay was excellent.

Hôtel calme extrêmement propre dans quartier calme en hauteur de puerto de la cruz avec facilité de se garer gratuitement autour. Personnel très serviable, souriant et poli. Les femmes de ménages, au bar, à la piscine, à l'accueil, quelques personnels au restaurant(les dames, le petit jeune, les cuistos, le responsable). Nourriture bonne, soirées agréables. Piscine avec serviettes et coussins à disposition. Possibilité d'y aller sans vraiment d'horaires de restrictions. Hôtel très beau et très arboré. Accueil très réactif pour nous changer de chambre suite à un problème dans celle initiale. Merci pour ce très agréable et reposant séjour.

Consiglio, ottima struttura, unica pecca un pochino fuori dal centro.
